  1. First model ...? WOW Man you're natural . You got skills well done
  2. Very neat Kevin . I always mask up surrounding areas before I put filler on . This also reduces risk of getting filler where you don't want it . Im Watching with great interest keep at it
  3. Fantastic work so far Kevin (Slow and steady wins the race) keep at it
  4. Will you be getting the whole body cast once you have done all the correcting of the body ? Fantastic work BTW ....! I never knew that the body was that bad

  7. X 2 I have never liked cars with front fender skirts . It just looks wrong to me . Each to there own ...! Overall though it is one heck of a piece of art. You have made a great start more please
  8. Thank you John those will be perfect
  9. Does anyone make BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires ?
  10. I cant wait Kevin your doing great I have a duel project planed too . I think the trailer will be the hardest part to build ? Im very interested in the Valiant build your doing and your doing a great job with that too so far. I have heard that the wheels are not available anywhere . So that's going to be a big problem
  11. The Logging trailer kit does not come with a chassis extended frame . It is a good kit though and it would work well with any of those trucks IMO . Doing the frame is not that hard to scratch build
  12. This is my new to me 72 5.2 318
  13. So I have a 71 Charger kit coming in the post and a I have got a hood coming as well as a few other bits to do the Base model 72 Charger . Bumpers still to be ordered. But the next challenge will be to find the correct paint for this build. The colour is Light metallic green does anyone do original exact colours? . I think looking at paint charts from 72 it should be Willow green or light mist?. But in the VIN code it just says Light metallic green so I am not to sure what it is . Add to that the fact that the car has been repainted and its not an exact match to the original colour . I will try to add a pic of the inner wheel arch in the trunk as it is still the original paint
  14. How you doing Kevin nice to have someone else from the UK on here. You will find loads of good people here always ready to help fellow builders. There is some fantastic models to look at . You will learn lots of stuff Just enjoy Dave
  15. You would be better of getting the R-600 not the DM-600 . The DM is a off set cab. I did the R-700 from the R-600 but I still had to get the R-700 hood from AITM . But I still had to narrow the hood by 2mm to fit the R-600 cab . I also had to remove a lot of resin from the inside of the hood . To be honest you would be better off getting the resin kit
  16. Steve do you know if the Missing link hood is flat with only a peak running from front to back ?
  17. Thanks Brian that's probably what I will do
  18. Thanks Andy didn't the 71 have the headlights on show? and different rear lights?
  19. Thanks George that is a lot of money I have a 74 Charger that is more like the 72 1/1 that I want to copy . Would The Model Haus 72 bumpers fit the 74 body ?
  20. Hi Mike thanks would I still need to get the 72 bumpers and grille . Just out of curiosity how much money are we talking for the MPC one?
