  1. Hi this is the start of a mammoth task I have set my self recently . It is going to be a four way intersection with truck repair and a custom garage with paint shop . The truck repair shop will have its own yard for storage/parking rotting ground . The custom paint shop will have some parking so there is some room for a cruise night meeting place . The building are just mocked up and are made of thin corrugated plastic taped together . Im hoping to have it lit up with street lights and traffic lights too . The road surface is stone effect spray paint which has a speckled look to it I have to give the road a few more coats as I ran out while marking out where the Four way edges needed to go . I have to try to get some better pics of the road markings at a your average four way . Dave
  2. Maybe you could do a port-a-loo in there
  3. Love where your heading with this . Could I suggest you put a bit more rake to the windshield frame . Just my two cent's
  4. That is very nice great looking dash . Gold seems to a very popular colour for the 65. I hope to get one of these soon .I hope it turns out as good as yours

  10. LOL a gentlemans chop . I still feel it would benefit from a short back and sides chop :Djust my 2 cents

  12. That looks cool but I think it needs a roof chop

  17. Stunning paint .
  18. I would be interested in a full set of two hole rims for my KW . As JT said for the right price . Better tyres would be good also as once the monogram tyres get old they perish very badly
  19. That looks great Rich . The foil realy does make all the difference .Keep at it
  20. Thanks Carl I normaly dont use testors paints . Normaly I use acrylic or nail polish. Which is what I will be using next time
  21. Thanks Keith Its ok it will be done again soon . I think that I may try a different colour next time though. Every day is a school day . Next time I will take more time to let the layers harden a bit more
  22. Hi Ben I was using Testors silver base then candy red over the top . I think what has happened was my own falt . I think that I rushed it between coats . The first pic shows the worst bit on the roof and the trunk . The dark spots are the acrylic red oxide primer
  23. She will be the best Model you will EVER make
  24. Hi all I thought I would show the results of 8 hours of masking and laying candy red to the Edsel. It kind of didn't go how I thought it would after about the 3rd coat of candy I had a problem with the first layers lifting with the tapes. At first I did think that I would be able to flat out the ruff bits . But no the candy has lifted right down to the red oxide primer AAAAHHHHGG . Oh well back to the drawing board :(The Edsel will go in to the Dip tank for a strip & I will have another go at it . The pictures don't realy show how bad it is . Comments welcome good or bad
