  1. Oh my god! http://www.daiseysusedcars.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=4&cat=Fords they are selling both police fords for 9500$ each, i am sure the gas is a disaster on them but would be so cool to drive that! i believe there are certain rules for driving collector emergency retired vehicles. I figured with your interest in 58 vehicles you would like the 57 ford, its a 57 but gives me so many paint ideas now. That paint color is so odd.
  2. I have found that loctite gel glue in a blue tube is the best modeling glue, it doesn't stink and doesn't cause strings, it dries almost instant and bonds very well.
  3. Yeah the LTD is Wilmington, the Plymouth grand fury didnt have markings! Not sure about its year i believe 1982
  4. Daisy's used cars, i am such an idiot. i should have went inside they have mopars superbirds. But as any photo taking junkie you often get overwhelmed with the drive of excitement and cant even hold the camera steady.
  5. Randomly saw this while passing through the Wilmington area, the guys in there first looked shady at me but then quickly got nice and allowed me to take pictures, i pretty much got everything they had there, should of taken my tripod along for better shots. Enjoy , the problem with modern high tech cameras these days is that the pics are like 12 mb each, had to resize and its still huge so a few extra posts.
  6. The worst enemy of building models is the floor
  7. the a class and the van are awesome I gotta get me one of those new van kits
  8. Upgraded my Coronet (Before pic not the best but never took any, now the upgrade made this model shine again!)
  9. Built mostly box stock with some wire detailing and photo etched locks and gauges, came out very nice for one month build ( which i consider short) looks great next to the eliminator i built 2 years ago.
  10. An ss 396 kit, some paints, a whole huge amount of greenlight diecasts and 2 lava lamps
  11. They need to release a 2012-13 charger rt or srt kit that is all stock special edition which lets you build rt or srt, with respected wheel styles. Would be much cooler than those odd revell kits that were made in past 10 years , cool build though does this kit allow you to build it pure stock?
  12. never clear metal coats! like silver chrome or copper or bronze they fade like crazy with clear coat
  13. Attempting to duplicate the odd bronze colors Plymouth used in 1968-69, mostly 95% testors copper and a slight mix of testors brass. What do you think? Was this worth the attempt? what interior colors should i pick out of the 2 cans? you pick! Using this as inspiration for detail... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-PLYMOUTH-GTX-440-4-Spd-s-Matching-Frame-Off-Resto-Heavily-Documented-/190808937109?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2c6d195295#ht_26321wt_1165 dude that plymouth in the ebay ad is the best man, driving that is just dangereous around certain places not because of the car but because people will steal parts of it! or the whole car!
  14. looks like 1999-2002 period judging by cars
  15. no car? no problem!
  16. no white hemi decals? ah those reissues!
  17. More progress, the Comet Cyclone is starting to look really badass, i am thinking maybe add a metal front bumper spoiler and make it black and very sharp looking,.. would make this car just look evil. Also just redid the wheels on my impala went from looking like this: To this: Should have done this long ago, i want to build all lowrider decal impalas like this now its just so wild.
  18. Beautiful Model, great detal and rare subject, also high schools had machine and car workshops? thats so awesome man, i wish my high school had anything like that down here in brooklyn all i had was metal detectors police officers everywhere and constant fighting and extortion lol
  19. I am going to have to go with the ford.. the round tail lights are awesome, also the ford probably outsold chevy in 57 but most of the fords were probably used the hell out of for fleet and commercial services, just like what modern fords are good at... getting used a lot for work
