  2. Got this today. One of my all time favorites. 1/43 scale
  3. Not exactly on the road, but identical 64' Impala SS's. One hdtp, one conv. Both as cool as the other.....
  4. Picked these up at Ollie's, both for less than $20. Loaded with pics and info.
  5. Not alot of horse power but they sure are sleek looking.......
  6. Cyber Truck parked in High School parking lot, behind my house. First one I have seen. And in a very small town no less. To me, this thing is some kind of ugly......
  7. I acquired this little car in a small lot that I bought. I have never seen one before. I did some research and found that it's the precursor car to the Ford Cobra, that was around from 1956 to 1963. What I dont know is who made this kit and when. As you can see, its complete. Any info is appreciated.
  8. I agree 100%. We spoke on the phone and hopefully one day I will get to meet him in person, and you as well. I enjoy your poking at each other.
  9. Here's how i got some premium building services. A great builder that i follow, was looking for a 1966 Buick Skylark. I happen to have a few in various conditions, with grand plans of building a nice stock " one of these days". And since life right now doesn't allow me very much bench time i thought if i gave him a rare Skylark, he might build 2 cars for me. Well I did contact him and made my pitch, and we agreed on the deal. While one car was painted by me 4 years ago I never did anything else to it. So the first pic is the car he got for his services, the second pic is a Skylark he built for me from a Craftsman version and the Olds is the car I had painted, but he did everything else to my liking.
  10. Close to Avon, IN. Big 4 Rail Yard yesterday.
  11. Yes they are both still available.
  12. Thank you! I made the display myself with a piece of Birch wood, a table saw and had the glass cut at my local Lowes.
  13. I got this in the mail yesterday, O scale Corvette Hauler. I have had an interest in Auto Carrier's since I was very young. The second pic shows just some smaller Carrier's I have. Probably have 25-30 more.
  14. My haul from the IPMS Show in Lebanon, IN. yesterday. Im kinda all over the place with my interests...lol
  15. I would even be interested in a junk promo body with a good hood. I have parts to trade with. Thanks
  16. At the IMPS Show in Lebanon, IN. ( my hometown) today. Made me chuckle.
  17. Can you say Zinger Project.....?
  18. I found it at a Goodwill store of all places. Alittle more detail, both the car and the boat can be motorized and all motors and electrical parts are included. While the kit is 1/24, the car seems a bit small to be pulling a boat that size.
  19. Got this today. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not familiar with this brand or any Japanese kits for that matter. The boat and trailer is what intrigued me. Box is alitte rough but all contents were complete and sealed inside.
  20. Have trade parts. Thanks
  21. Saw this today while out enjoying a golf cart ride around town. Beautiful 70° day in Central Indiana. Slickest black paint I've ever seen.
  22. While the car in the tv show is a 33 It was much easier to convert a 34 coupe. This is the first car I've finished in about 3 years. And while its not perfect, (as was the real car far from perfect) it turned out just like i wanted. The kit itself is a nightmare to build. I started be cutting the top off of a 34 and member here generously donated at cowl and windshield frame from a 32 Ford. After that its basically a box stock kit. I've included a few tv show scenes so you get the idea.
  23. While you may be right about purchasing from eBay and the MSRP, i set-up at a show late last year in Indiana and there were more Nascar for $10 and under than i could have fit in my car.
  24. Ok here goes, and let me say up front that I'm not bad mouthing or bashing anyone or any business. Just simply trying to understand something. I just seen that a new Nascar (old) model is about to be released. While I like the driver he was never a Nascar super star. And given the current resale of Nascar kits that can be had for usually less than $10 at any given swapmeet(even for Super Star drivers) how can it be profitable for a company to release a new old kit and then charge over $50 for it. Im simply try to understand the thinking here.
