  1. Do they sell the body without the chassis?
  2. Having had a Fireball system in a Fox body Mustang, it looks perfect. You nailed it!
  3. I had one of the Crane boxes (and the Ford style coil) in my Fox ragtop - nice touch!
  4. Nice build! I did mine in the same color, but with grey interior.
  5. Can't make it. About to leave to be a judge at the Citrus Mopar Club car show in Inverness.
  6. When is the date?
  7. So far my hunt has come up with... nothing. I had no idea this little car was so rare.
  8. Does anyone produce reproduction parts for the old AMT slot car kit? I recently acquired this one (thanks Gary!), but it's a bit of a glue bomb, with the wheels and tires being the worst parts. Also, does anyone produce decals for these cars? Thanks...
  9. That is almost exactly like my car was. Mine had stock steel wheels and no stripes. It was a fun car!
  10. Never saw one with a twin cam, mine had a 20R SOHC four banger. Not the most powerful thing in the world, but it was a sweet little power plant.
  11. That was my first car! Mine was blue with tan interior, and of course was LHD with US spec bumpers. Nice build!
  12. Nice build - the Daytona wheels are perfect, saw a few Fox body cars back in the day with aftermarket wheels that looked very similar.
  13. Yep, the Esci/MPC/AMT/Ertl kits are all the same.
  14. Same kit, I used the air cleaner from the AMT Mustang, and I made the jack plates instead of the bumpers. Also made the roll bar from aluminum tube.
  15. Very nice!
  16. It's been a few years since I built it, not the best kit,but not the worst either. I changed a couple things on mine, and reworked a few others to get it to fit together a little better.
  17. Nice, as always! Why are the upper "ball joints" set back from the lowers?
  18. Thanks! Yeah, I modified it. I used shorter springs in the rear, and sanded/filed between the K member and subframe to get the nose down.
  19. Use a white primer under it. I used a Duplicolor touchup called Bright Aqua Metallic (GM color) on mine, but that was several years ago, don't know if it's still available or not. ..
  20. Very nice. I have that kit in the pile, with broken windshield posts. Gonna try to get the doors to line up and just glue them shut, even if I have to glue sheet plastic behind the gaps to hold it all together.
  21. My camera (Kodak Z712is) only goes down to f8.0, but it manages to get the whole model in focus. I always shoot on a tripod, and I use the camera's timer to avoid any camera shake.
  22. This. I never did get a DSLR, and still shoot with my cheap Kodak and a desktop tripod.
  23. Does that camera have a macro function? I shot these pics with a friend's Sony A350 DSLR and the regular 18-55mm lens using the macro function in the camera. These pics have not been altered other than photobucket resizing them when uploaded. I used a pretty high F-stop setting to get depth of field, and let the camera auto-focus.
  24. That turned out super nice!
  25. That is looking great! It's definitely more detailed than the Coda Lunga kit was, especially the interior and wheels.
