  1. Johan kit, decals from Firebird Designs, Tamiya paints.
  2. I built the hardtop version many years ago (destroyed in a shelf/gravity fight), I don't recall any real difference in fitting the chassis and interior tub into the body.
  3. I also have the EM version in progress and can fit the chassis in nose first. Do you have a pic of the curbside chassis?
  4. Really? Errors in a model kit are on the same level with an error that caused the Challenger disaster? Seriously? YGTBFKM...
  5. Have you looked at the 93 Cobra interior?
  6. It is a spectacular build! Going be kinda weird to not see anymore updates on this project. Gotta wonder what your next creation will be
  7. Any wheel can be made to fit. I used Tamiya wheels on this, with 23" sleeves/tires out back. One thing that made the wheel easier to fit was to cut the excess width of the inner rim off. I chucked the wheel into a drill motor and ran it against a sanding block til it slipped into the sleeve with a slight bit of drag, then secured it with CA.
  8. Yes, those will show through the paint. keep working them til they disappear.
  9. Jeff, One of my friends has a 70 Mach 1 with the non functional scoop. It's just a standard hood with the scoop bolted on, and looks just like your old car's hood underneath. Shaker hoods are the same stampings, with the hole cut out (as well as the twist lock holes) and a trim piece added to cover the edges of the cut. His car is a late 1969 build date as well. Your build is looking great, especially opening everything up!
  10. One of the guys in our Mustang club has one, Your model looks spot on!
  11. Nice conversion!
  12. Not included. This is a super simple snap kit made for small kids to slap together and roll around on the floor. Here's what it looks like right from the box.
  13. Color is Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue and TS-13 clear over white primer. Pics make it look a little brighter than it is.
  14. It seems the original post got lost in the server swap, so here it is again. It's been a while, but I finally finished one!
  15. Does anyone have a set of Aoshima 19" wheels and tires laying around? Need to know the width and outside diameter of the tire mounted on the wheel. Thanks!
  16. Looks like it's built on a Catarham Seven chassis.
  17. 1. The Big Lebowski 2. Boondock Saints
  18. 1/8 scale Cobras (289, 427 and Daytona Coupe) 1/8 XKE ragtop 1/8 '65 Mustang fastback 1/8 69 or 70 Mustang fastback
  19. The red "street car" kit does have a full decal sheet in it, but no call outs on the instruction sheet or any info on which cars the decals represent.
  20. Download, install and run Malwarebytes.
