Nice start. That blue looks great. I’ve been eyeing up this kit for a while. Not my usual style, but I thought it’d make a nice change. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

Great subject and you are making good progress with the body. I have had several Airtrax bodies over the years. The skill level required varies considerably from one to the next. Some have required intensive work, whilst others have been a pure joy to behold.

Great start on this. Is this a new(ish) tooled kit from Revell? I think it was definitely wise to scribe those lines in the body before painting. Can I ask, what scribing tool are you using there? I have Tamiya one, but the replacement tungsten bits are very expensive.

Wow. I love the radical look of these two. The roof chop on the green one is crazy, and that interior on the convertible!! I’ve never heard of liquid aluminium! Sounds like the bad guy in the Terminator films.

Very good start. I love the E34 shape. I had one year ago (just a 525i). I’ve got the Fujimi kit of the M5 in my stash now, but I never knew they did this Alpina version. What paint is that? Appears to have a multi-coloured sparkle to it, or is that just a trick of the light?

Looks absolutely fantastic. Some of those mock up pics look almost 1:1. Is that the kit supplied grille?

Shame you have to re-paint this. It looked okay in the pictures. I am part way through the initial build of my GT. The close fit of all the body panels lead me to think it would be a good idea to mask off all the glued contact surfaces before painting. I think the paint film thickness in these areas might upset the fit. Especially the fit of the rear quarter panel to the roof.

Wow. You got a great finish on that candy line. Is it from an aerosol can, or did you have to airbrush it on?
