  1. Love this pick up...and with the Hemi - it's even better! What was your kit source for the Hemi?
  2. Wow - is this guy on some kind of drugs. I want some. I think I might know him.
  3. Tony; that's a beautiful model of one of my favourite muscle cars. Love the detail and deep blue paint. A nice clean build. I've been wanting to build one for a while. You have inspired me. Is the Monogram kit the same as the Revell one? The latest version of the Revell kit is labled as a 1/25 scale, but I'm sure the Monogram one was 1/24.
  4. An AWESOME rod. What kit is this and where did those wheels comme from?
  5. Lovely build. The green looks sooo deep.
  6. I never though of using the kit part as a former for the mesh. Thanks for the tip Grant - I will have to try this.
  7. AWESOME! I built this kit as a beaten up wreck. I think I'll have to build a clean one now!
  8. Paint looks great! I think it looks better for not being quite as low as the first build. The wheel and tyre combo are perfect. Nice one
  9. Good work so far. Love the idea of foiling before paint - I must try this.
  10. That's a lovely model of the GT there Grant. I think the PE detail really adds to what is already a very good kit. It's hard to see in the pics, but how did you tackle the two mesh inserts on the engine cover? Is it a PE mesh or is it the kit 'glass' item? I must admit that this has been the stalling pont on my build of this kit.
  11. Thats a great looking Lola! Nice job
  12. The Avantador is a bigger car than the Reventon. I have both Fujimi kits, and although they do look similar at first glance they are quite different. The most obvious difference being the size. The Reventon is like a 9/10 scale version of the Aventador! Looking at both Fujimi kits 'in the flesh' (in the plastic!) there are no parts in common between the two - not even the tyres.
  13. Hey Anth, I know what you mean. I bought a Lamborghini Miura made by Imia just for the sake of nostalgia . I first built this kit when I was about 10 years old. Of course, the new Hasagawa kit f the Miura is much better, but I just had to have the old Miura kit. Good luck with your General Lee.
  14. Here are the fitting instructions...
  15. I just received this from HLJ. It's a curbside, but has basic (really basic) engine top detail. The doors do not actually hinge, but can be posed in the up or down positions. It's nice to see a small fret of photoetched parts. The grills are diplicated in photo etch and in plastic. A quick bit of research shows that to build a faithful Reventon model a little carbon fibre decal will be required. I'll apologise in advance for the photos that aren't great.
  16. In my opinon the best kit to start with for a faithful replica General lee is the Revel 1/25 69 kit. There is a wealth of information about building the General Lee at this link... http://www.di-namix.com/naglfc/howto.htm Hope this helps you Anth
  17. Nice clean model Drew. And beautifully photographed too.
  18. Nice to see this one again. I agree - there has been a lot of Cobra kits, but very few of the narrow bodied 289.
  19. Well spotted.

    Bmw M1

I love it Danny! Its one of my favourite 1:1 car. Nice paint scheme and the wheels do work well on it. I built one of these about 30 years ago. If I'm not mistaken this kit was sold under the brand of Humberol - then ESCI berore it became a Revel (RoG) kit. I have an un built 'narrow' body version (ESCI) on the shelf waiting. I might just have to get cracking.
  21. Here's some more pics...
  22. This is gonna be a master piece. Can't wait to see more Brad - keep up the good work.

    Early A V-8

Jon, thats a really SWEET rod. A proper hot rod. I love the attention to detail. Where did those rear tyres come from?
  24. An awesome project. Love to see more.
