  5. Hense the ( "Sarcastic tone" ) ????, nothing to take personal. Normally when searching on the internet, google is a persons best friend and first resort. At any rate, thanks all for the help. Much appreciated.
  6. Nice, thats awesome. Im surfing around that site right now. Thanks tons.
  7. Thanks alot. This is the best help Ive found so far. I know what Im looking for exists just dont know what to type into "Google.com" to find it. I know you do the distributor, spark plug wires, radiator hoses, etc. What am I missing ? Hooking the throttle up, any braided hoses, battery terminals, any springs I may have missed, any hoses or wires I may have missed etc. I know nothing about this stuff as to what hooks up to what. What all needs hooked up etc. Eventually Ill get what I need from fishing around and looking at various photos. Just wish I had more knowledge about this kind of stuff. Thanks for the help so far guys. Much appreciated.
  8. (In Sarcastic tone) Thanks for that piece of advice Captain Obvious. I've been searching google for weeks now and still cant find what I'm looking for which is why I turned to this forum. I'm looking for a pic of a 216 "Stovebolt" 6 that your looking down on so I can get an idea of what all detailing I need to do. I have never done any engine detail and would like to detail the engine of a build I'm currently working on. Other then Dist and spark plug wires I have the least clue what else can be done to detail the engine so I figured a pic like I'm looking for could help solve that for me.
  9. Does anyone know where I can find a close up photo of a engine from a 1941 Chevy pick up truck ?
  10. Hey all. Please check out my most recent video I've put on my youtube channel. Please rate, comment and if you feel you would like too subscribe to my channel. I always welcome comments, suggestions, advice as well as cons on all videos I put up. My most recent video is the latest update to my entry into the Big Spring Contest at SMA. Just in the learning stages and channel isn't that big yet so I'm a newbie to youtube. I recently got a new setup for taking videos and have gotten rid of the bluryness and green line in my videos. Thanks for viewing. Enjoy the rest of your week.
  11. Why should that penalize a person of placing ? Every Nascar kit Ive built say right in the instructions not to glue the wheels on. They snap directly onto the axle. I dont know if street cars are like this as Ive only ever built one. If the instructions of a kit call not to glue the wheels on why should that penalize a person from placing points at a show ? (Taking notes from this thread for future contests I may enter any of my builds in). Thanks in advance for your detailed answer. Much appreciated.
  12. Does anyone know if you can upload a video from Photobucket to youtube ? I have a video I have in photobucket that Id like to upload to youtube but cant find a way to do so. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  14. I have an extra Newman Haas Indy car that Andretti ran back in the day made by I believe without looking in the stash is a AMT kit. I would be more then happy to talk with you in regards to sending this kit to you so you can make the John Andretti model you have on your wish list.
  15. Is a grown man with my priorities in line. I'll be aight... Just sayen
  16. AJ Allminflinger said it best. We as race car drivers realize the dangers that come with racing and are willing to risk it all to go fast for a win. Its something us race car drivers should have to deal with not the race fans. I was just so happy to see that when all the drivers were interviewed, not one of them clean down to including the young Dillon boy put the fans first saying how they hoped everyone of them were ok.
  17. Does anyone know the exact name for the Green Color in the Interstate Batteries #18 ? Im getting ready to start a Bobby Labonte #18 Interstate Batteries Nascar build but have no clue what the actual name of the Green Color is and have nothing near the shade of Green it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  18. Is Michaels accepting competitors coupons something that is Nation wide or just select stores hit or miss ? Im totally diggen this if its Nationwide and may just make a trip there this weekend if is the case. A Hobby Lobby, AC Moore, Michaels and phone coupon 40-50% off coupon would be a terrific score for me if all four are accepted Can you use all four coupons at a clip or is it one per trip ? Im thinking Wife, Daughter and myself each in a row with a coupon = it really doesnt matter if one per trip ha ha. This will really be a benefit to me seeing the wife just blew our Durango up. Might just have to make a trip to Michaels on the way home from getting the new vehicle this weekend
  19. Dr Cranky has a video or two in his youtube archives of him actually giving a step by step on how he applies his Dupont clear coat. He even has a helper doing the recording of the video as both his hands are occupied applying the clear coat ha ha .
  20. Dang I wish they would box up and ship me the vinyl they are discarding in this project ha ha ha
  21. we even use these types of wraps for our racing helmets. Paint is a thing of the past ha ha
  22. Keep your brass period if you shoot because ammunition is hard to get period these days. Aunt and Uncle own a sporting goods store and cant get any 22 or 9MM shells period not to mention any 223 or 5.6. Theres actually a waiting list for the 223's and 5.6's. Rifle ammo they had to start stocking now and getting all they can get to put back to be able to have stock during rifle season. Its getting horriable to find ammunition. Great point about the potential ways to use brass in the hobby though.
  23. Being there's no hobby shop within a half hour or more from me I have to say that price wise www.scalehobbyist.com is the best and cheapest hobby shop that exists. I've checked many of these websites that everyone has listed and the prices at the mentioned website I posted are much better. Now if I had a local hobby shop within a hour drive of me that I could regularly visit and the prices were reasonable or comparable then I would support my local hobby shop. Till one exists lol I have to go online with who has the cheapest prices. Someone mentioned Penn Valley Hobby Shop in Lansdale. Super nice people but a bit expensive. They are sellers on ebay with VERY high prices.
