  9. going frankenstein with left over parts and stuff i already cut op tpo use parts for other builds started with this 1940 ford pick-up cabine , back then i chopped this cab and put brass tubing on the firewall sanded of the red paint first to reveil the black underneith after a lot of sanding i got through the black and then the primer and found styrene again then took the rear quarter panels of a 57 chevy and cut up the roof of the chevy to use as bed cover put a wheel in the rear and started to look at difefrent wheels and tyres here with a styrene sleeve and a small styrene rim as center same but used a hub cap in the center i loved this one myself now i want to use the front clip of the chevy but there are no headlights or bumper or grille , so i then should make a custom front end .. or maybe i can look at a nother front end from left overs i want a blown v8 sticking through the hood , i will just let the parts lead me

  18. hey all this is a update from a old build ... i was thinking what to start next and decided to work a bit on this woody ... back then i took a dan fink speed wagon kit from revell and build a new body from real wood ... that was my first time using real wood on a car on scale ... now i did some new stuff > > made 2 beach towels (thnx and credits tobpletcher55 for the idea how to make then !!!) one small one for drying off and a big 2 person to snug together with your girl haha the big one was not done on the pics needs more shaping > washed the wood and gave it 2 coats of gloos varnish , it was to clean and i thought a beach cruiser should look more used > put on several decals all around > took a surfboard from the tudor kit i recently build sanded it and put on the decals and clear coated it 3 times the tiki flowers on the side of the cowl actually have mooneyes in the center , bit to small to get sharp on a picture in the evening just some mild things to add .. pictures are shot quick .. just on a black canvas on my workbench with on my pc screen a ocean pic not the most convicing look but better then just on the table .. i should get a bit of sand !!!
