i have tattoos !! and i have a smartphone !!....i think i look at my smartphone 3 times max per day ..i scrapped the internet subscribsion .. and never use my phone for internet .. my phone is to be in reach for my loved ones , to shoot pictures ...at home i use my pc a lot and go on the net a lot ..when not @ home i dont ! its like internet etc etc all the modern stuff is great ...but ....its getting out of control , like said people burry themself in their phone , where are the good old converations ...like at work taking a break , i see people share stupid movies , picture of strange stuff or jut dont talk and jut go into the virtual world .. imo there hould be a healthy balance between a virtual life and your real life , use your hands , create something , leave a real footprint on this earth ...not jut in bits and bytes ... and yes people use their phone in traffic , texting and what not , swerving in and out lanes ...and now we have the pokemon hype ...where does it stop lol and this is maybe the best example > i'm a truckdriver , work at the company for 22 years now ...these days everything is computerized , if there is a problem like no internet or system bug ..we all come to a stop , we cant help customers , there i no back up at all in the sence that they cant give out new orders to the trucks . yes our trucks are online we have toutch screen diplays with gps , orders , navigation and phone all into one ..big brother is watching .. when i'm on the road and have no signal or the system is down i cant call , cant use navigation .. its just all becoming so that if internet would die (lol hahaha) 90% of the world would collaps , we have no oldfashion backup to go back to.. ye i love tech and internet but up to a certain point , in a way i could easely go back to the old days and live happely ever after ...

thnx guys !! atm it sitting on the bench , i suddenly have a low bloodpressure and dizzy .. also it 36 degrees over here ...coming from 22 degrees suddenly its a desert so i dont feel like building i hope to finis the wall where the door is this weekend and maybe build some shelf for the wall to put some misc. parts on

started on the side door . first base more and with the nova and toolcart as reference put a board on top to finish it off

did the next piece of wall , stopped there because for the last part i first want to build a doorframe and door as a side entrance ....ad's a lot i think already got a great atmosphere picture

i need to finish the wall but i wanted to put together this fujimi tool box .. i usually build stuff like this from scratch .. but i got this in the partsboxes and it was nice and easy to use .. painted it red , silver , wood top ....weathered a bit .. will be cool with a oil can on top and some parts ad tools

next step > after some rubbing i stained the wood with transparent woodstain in the color walnut ..after aplying i rubbed it in and of with a cloth , leaving darker stain in the seems and cracks , this really brouht it to life . when this is dry and hard i will go over some flat surfaces with superfine sandpaper to bring back some lighter color a bit and give it a more dramatic effect the white iron window frame now shows better and pops

thnx jason just after the previous post i put black pigment powder over the walls and started brushing it in .. really comes to life now .. just the base i van tone it down on places . and i will lightly sand some earea's to create a more light dark effect

thnx joe made the wall on the left side of the doors and then started a window and frame , went of pics of real barn windows and made the iron frame with wood around .. desided to make a smaller narrow window and higher up ..so they cant peek inside that easy lol .. the real reason is now i can always put something along the wall .. maybe a simple wood workbench ?
