i always wing it myself
and gggrrrmmmmbbll i still want to buy that kit some day myself !! have not found one yet over here .. sometimes they pop up here and there but not when i'm looking
lots of possibility's with this kit
just read the entire thread and still sit here speecheless just mindblowingly awsome stuff , not only that the shown techniques are a very inspiring addition !!
loved evey page of the thread
thnx guys and @ clay , trust me you can build a whole diorama for like very little money .. in fact i think its doable for the same ammount a decent car kit costs ..
for me the fun is also trying to use all sorts of old stuff ..
sure would i go to the store and buy a whole lot of evergreen styrene it would be easyer to build stuff .. but like you saiy cost is also a factor
and for me this was my first real diorama , i have done a 1/18 thing before this but this was the first real dio i did ..so i was not real experienced myself .. hope my next one will be a step up again
thnx really apriciated
well i take all the shots with my samsung phone
i added a pillar in the middle of the roofframe , decided to fix the frame on the dio for good ...it adds lots of cool shadings on the floor with the proper lighting
nice idea i think to get those tyres looking realistic you really need to sand them all the way with fine paper so all the gloss is gone . and maybe work those rims open (the slots)
omg i'm in love > perfection , the paint is just smooth as ice , i like the grey makes it very smooth looking , stance and wheel/tyres is perfect..
the boards look great..
just very realistic looking ... awsome
thnx both really appriciated
wel this winter i def. will start a new garage diorama or maby a machineshop or gasstation .. i think i will do a nothjer garage first , i have learned so much from this one i want to start from scratch on a new one .. maybe highlight a different aspect like a paintbooth ... stuff like that
for now i will try to stuff as much small details in this one before the convention in september ...
thnx
