well since the grille from lego broke and after some thinking i found that too simple and like 70's and what has been done so often on vans ...i decided to go more extreme .. going to mix some styles , got eliptical headlights wich i will place a bit turned so the look somewhat angry .. mercury bullet grille .. just mixing some stuff they seem big on this pic buts thats just the shot , also they are just very loose in there normal distance you see they are the right size everything still roughly loosely placed but the idea i'm after so i wil add a aditional strip under the headlights and make the insert less flat .. maybe even make a knob grille above the bullet grille something like this but smaller and more refined

well tbh it was easy i just flipped the chassis upside down and it fits perfect like that and the ride hight is spot on , the suspension isnt detailed just iron rods trhough the chassis so i decided to flip it make a small tunnel inside and make the whole underside flat with plates later on ... the grille died i put somke bmf foil on it but it broke in half , rather then stripping it and repairing i desided i'd try to make something even more stylish ....

thnx decided to do headlights , behind the hole will be a fors headlight as reflector / lense and the glass fits exactly in the styrene so the lense is flush with the styrene still rough its not that big now its slammed next to the pick-up it looks small on the shelf next to some other creations

redid all the panellines after so much was sanded of the body they where almost gone , also where hinges where i made the pannellines run through modyfied the tyres to house the kit's rear centers and went body slammed with this van ...

started work on the grille , want to make like hidden headlights , maybe scribe some lines zo it looks like there are 2 panels that could turn and reveil headlights base from lego's hahah rough base very rough dryfit after a first sandjob then made a strip above the bumper so there is more depth in the grille , i want fairly somple and clean lins all over , nothing outrageous , real clean and sleek after some sanding and adjusting that sits like that , the grille needs to stay removable , will spray that black and do the horizontal strips in chrome 2e round of bondo

omg thats just weird , not to mention the inside with the diamonds (?) just looks terrible .. pricewise i would love to be neir the buyer so i can laugh at him and make a L on my forehead with my fingers hahahah even if your so welthy that buying this doesnt make you think ... hmmmm thats expensive its still just ..... on the other hand this opens up a whole new market for some of us !!!! .. just take like a half a year or year to build a perfect replica and sell it for 50.000$ - 100.000$ and well thats not a bad return and for those type of byer its a bargain

some progress recut a rear bumper from the partsbox and smoothened it roughly bondod the side of the front wings roughly with bondo middle section out so i can build a separate grille with head lights testing reflectors behind styrene for the headlights

opened up the fake headlights and after trying some stuff on the front , decided to scratch the front ... base closed front , real rought still and a strip under that with a bit of space as base for a front bumper
