in the end i think a higher force decided to ruin the cabine with a purpose .. it seems i missed something , above the grille and headlights the bodywork needs to run smooth and in my cab / kit it had some openings there ... so i heated some kit sprue and welded it in the gaps then flattened that then put on some bondo thats now drying also did some bonde on the edge of the front bumper and new fender edges so its smoother

whow came out awsome !! really love it .. the thickness of the material is a slight issue yes , one option would have been to cut the design out of thin styrene and work that into the roof like a square with some bracing inside and flatten the seems so it was one with the foof again . that way it would have looked like sheetmetal .. maybe a idea for next time ?!! still really digging it

thnx !! and yes would be expensive to ship rims to holland but then again in a enveloppe ... the snap tite kit was not cheap .. but i already have somebody in holalnd who might have some rims for me and i even think i have some other ones i can use on a car i put away i did not have the patience to waight if one day the yellow would clear , and yes its my fault to thick spray there (shame) so i spotrepaired it , almost ruined it could not sand it it was to soft under the gard layer , i def need to leave painted body's longer in the future .. and i will do so after this shot i sanded it and sanded the edge smooth and did clear again .. if it will not work i will paint a nice copper design on the sides did manage to ghet the black uderside on perfect , when the body is saved i will do the underside of that and inner wells as well

thnx guys !!! well i do have a big paint issue , i always use the same clear coat and that stuff is weird but usually in a good way , when sprayed on it looks yellow-ish and then the next day its all gone and clear .. in this case that was almost so .. but i had the same issue i had one time before , all was clear and nice exept a small piece along the side of the hood and a big piece under the left door , that stayed yellow also on the front lip just a tad , now there will be a front bumper so .. but the side of the door . hmm , i will try to wet sand it otherwise i maybe will make a bmf strip there ...hmmzzzz got new wheels and they look awsome , sadly i cant use them they are out of my 9 year old sons first ever model kit (snap tite) but i now know i need to fing bigger wheels like these on these 2 pics it all looks yellow but thats due to the halogen spots on the ceiling here some with diggerent light and its all white exept the earea's mentioned and well these where the rims i picked , look terrible now after the other set right ?
