  1. Looks like a fantastic little project....Interesting tidbit of information on the truck stop you used to work at.....That might be a little eerie to have to wait behind a truckload of caskets.....Remember....If it got there at all, it came on a truck....That means caskets, too....LOL
  2. You got some good looking trucks in your collection, Helmut.....I really like that K123.....That K100 ain't too shabby, either....Again....Everything posted on here is awesome.....Really giving me some good ideas.....Seriously diggin' all this stuff.....Great idea for a thread, Ken....
  3. This is a great looking build....Nice job on the decals....
  4. I finally decided to post this one....I had it pretty much done for a while, but had no load to speak of....I finally threw a few things on the back and can call it finished....I'm happy with the end result, but I didn't realize the fenders were cambered like the are....It was too late to do anything about, so this is the way it sits.....Other than that, I good with it....Lesson learned....The next one I'll pay a little closer attention....... I was also undecided as to whether I wanted the stake bed or flat bed, so I made the stake bed removable.....No load for that, though....
  5. Not sure how I missed this one.....Amazing what you find when you're not looking....Great looking project.... Oh wait....Now I see....This was posted 4 years ago....Lol....Still a good looking project, though.... Are we there, yet???
  6. Very ambitious project, Buddy.....Gonna be cool to see this come together....
  7. Great job, so far.....I tell you, this is one of the best models I've seen come along in a very good while.....Now when you get to the little lights and such, you might consider using white glue for all of them instead of all those tiny clear pieces....Testors works great for this.....Then go over them with an orange Sharpie after they dry....I found it to work, quite well....And MUCH faster......But, again, only a suggestion....
  8. Man, there are some serious looking cabovers over here....All of them are nice.....We've got some good modelers on this forum.... I've got a few, myself....
  9. Good job, Man.....Nice work....Good color choice....Really like the black....
  10. Man, this WS is looking great.....Awesome job on the engine and the paint is stunning....
  11. Somebody had a thread on this, Man....Check a few....Well maybe, quite a few, pages back in the workbench section....Look for Paystar Cement mixers, I think.....
  12. That is an odd looking trailer.....Never seen one of those, either...... And nice Galloping Goose.....What a weird machine...
  13. Cool looking collection....Would love to see more...... That is one nice restoration job on that old glue bomb.....Totally transformed....
  14. Yes, Sir....I do....At this time of year, we get some days with "low" humidity.....That's about 70% down, here, but it's enough to get a pretty good shine.....Thought about building a paint booth, but don't have the room to build one big enough to do trailers and such....So outside will have to do..... And thanks a bunch, Guys.....I really hope to be able to get back to this one in earnest.....Contest is just around the corner....
  15. That is a pretty cool looking Autocar....Nice work, Helmut...
  16. Ohhh....Thanks Jacobus.....And I never even thought to look the website up, Cary.....Thanks ....Never noticed it, there before, for some reason.... Wow....That is one heck of an RV.....Looks like it's made out of bullet proof materials.....That thing is awesome.....I'll bet it cost half a million dollars....
  17. All these trucks look pretty awesome....I really like those hay wagons and dumpers......And those Euro trucks are just "SICK".....I've got one.... This one looks pretty out of place down here in Spring, Tx......But, nonetheless, I saw it out in front of Walmart....And I have No idea what it's for....
  18. Saw these last month out in front of the horse track.....
  19. Believe it or not, Charles, I saw it later at a truck stop down the street with a city bus on the trailer.....Wasn't able to get a pic of it, though.....I was headed to work.....
  20. Been working so much, I haven't been able to get back to the bench, much.....I did manage to get a few things done on this, though.....Got the interior painted and I took a much simpler approach to making poseable steering by snagging a steering rack from a Mercedez Actros kit....Fit quite nicely....
  21. Snagged a couple of Smooth Side 53'ers from Megahobby before they changed the price....Came in just yesterday.....I was shocked that they honored the preorder price of $26 and some change each....Got them both for about $62, total.....Also five Raptors and a JCB backhoe I got from a customer for FREE....God blessed me with some good stuff, this week.....And, oh yes....Got a Chevy Duallie from and some other stuff, not pictured, from Jeremy....
  22. Nice work on this one, Buddy.....I've always liked this model....I've got one left that needs to be built.....Good job on the white paint....
  23. Dude !!!!! This model is SMOKIN'.....Outstanding build....Just outstanding.....I like everything about it....Opening doors? On this model? WOW!! Beautiful job.....
  24. Does look much closer to something you'd expect to see in about 10 years, anyway....Unlike some other stuff that you KNOW would NEVER hit the roads any time soon....With a few tweaks to the styling, it just might work....
  25. Pretty slick looking paint, Man.....I like the blind spot mirror, too....Nice touch....
