  1. Incredible piece of work.....Very nice.....Just looking at this makes me want to step it up a bit....This is just awesome work.....
  2. Don't worry, Alain....That's just to add to the suspense.... Can't wait to see that trailer you're building hooked up to this bad boy.....
  3. Thanks, Guys.....I'd been cruising along on this, pretty good, when I suddenly found that I can't open the hood to install the other components... .....Couldn't believe I did that.....But, like I said, this is my FIRST Diamond Reo.....Guess I should have built one box stock, first.....I guess I figured I was too good to screw this up.....Well, I was obviously WRONG....... I think I set the bumper a little too high is all, but I'm not sure if I'm going to correct it, right away or not....I think those parts will just become part of whatever load I decide to put on it....I don't even know where to connect the "Luberfinder", anyway... ....It won't start, but it looks good....LOL....Oh, well....Guess this one won't be at the contest in April..... And, I'm still working out my load.....I believe I'm going to just have a bunch of stuff....Barrels, Pallets, Parts, like an old junk hood (Sean)..... Whatever I can find....Thanks for all the suggestions, though....Definitely, some good ones....
  4. Yes, Sir....That is one fine build....Getting in those nooks and crannies can use up some paint.....It's tough to keep from "over" painting parts that are in front of the parts you're trying to reach.....Looks like you've got it licked.....Great job....
  5. It's looking like a truck, now, Boys......Had some old square headlights from an old Italeri Freightliner and decided to see what they would look like.....I like it.....It looks like I mounted the fenders a little off.....Didn't catch that at the start of this kit....I thought the grill would have corrected that, but I was wrong.....Oh well.....I have to live with that and move on....Almost done with it, though....
  6. Now that's a shrewd move.....That's how you score a model....
  7. That's perty....Very nice Cascadia, there....Very nice....
  8. Yep....But I think they call it a "Roo Bar" down there, though....
  9. Wow....That thing is going to be a BEAST !!!! You Aussies don't do much of anything small, do you?? I thought we did everything BIG here in Texas, but y'all ain't messin' around either....
  10. Looking good, so far....Great choice for an entry into truck modeling.....
  11. Looks great, Man, already....What a nice idea for a truck....
  12. MAN, that's some good detail.....Looks very realistic....
  13. I agree with Dan....Those wheels are incredible.....Very nice.....All your mods look awesome.....
  14. Got little more done over the past couple of days.....It's a small update, but I made some tool boxes for the treatment.....Hopefully, I'll get to the stake bed portion of this build, tonight....Found the ribbed styrene I needed, so I should be able to..... Wish I had some touchup paint to clean up these fronts..... Love these wobblers and tires in this kit.....
  15. Wow, that is excellent.....Great job on the detail and weathering.....And that crane setup......Awesome.....The base ain't too bad, either......
  16. Pretty cool site....I'll be referring to it in the future, for sure....Thanks for the link....
  17. Still a great build....Looks real nice....Very clean.....Really dig that yellow and black paint scheme....
  18. That's a great looking model.....Absolutely amazing detail.....Weathering is top notch....The dents are so realistic, it boggles the mind.......Very original....
  19. Simply gorgeous looking car.....Hard to believe someone would pay 3.5 for something like this.....But if you got the money.....Great job capturing every little detail.....Definitely shows dedication to the hobby......Great job.....
  20. Flippin' awesome, Dude....Flippin' awesome.....Great job on a difficult kit....You sure picked a good one to reenter the hobby.....Wow....This thing is quite amazing....I like everything about it....And I'm a guy that likes the bling on trucks.....Done tastefully, anyway.....This is a very good representation and that back drop is Awesome.....Just a beautiful place to take pictures.....Beautiful....
  21. Now that's a good looking truck.....Beautiful....
  22. You keep soldiering on, Man....This is taking shape....Gonna look good.....
  23. This is looking pretty darn awesome, Man.....Rare to see anyone tackle one like this.....Excellent idea for a restoration.....As rare as this kit is, I think this is the only way to do it is with an old built up.....Awesome.....
  24. Great job....It looks SOOO much better with the stretch.....I really need to get started on one of these....
  25. Man, that does suck....Hate running out of paint in the middle of something.....Very hard to figure out JUST how much you need for projects like this.....Flat surfaces, like on a 53'er, you can get pretty close, but when you have to get paint into all those nooks and crannies, it can be tough.....Excellent work, Man.....Looks extra special.....
