Well, Boys, I finally finished it....It's displayed Under Glass, now.....!!!!!

Well, Boys, I finally got this one done.....This was really a fun one for me....Every once in a while, you build a model that really solidifies why you're in the hobby in the first place....This one was it for me....I really like the way it turned out, and I hope you guys do, too.... With this one, I stretched the frame, added new fuel tanks, new step boxes, a big Texas bumper with rookie poles, and tool boxes, and some chicken lights....The trailer was completely scratch built, with the exception of the wheels and tires....Those are AMT..I made LED tail lights for it, too....The cars are from AMT, Revell or Monogram and were built years ago....Except for the Challenger....I just built that one a few months ago.....This is the final product....Well, 95% of it, at least....Still need conspicuity markings and electrical and air lines, of course....

Thanks, Guys, on your wonderful and helpful comments.....I, actually found that it's the ladders that are touching the tires, keeping it from sitting all the way....I already lowered the gear shift tower, and discovered the real problem.....I'll have to move the ladders back, somehow, but I'm ready to move on, so, I'm not sure when, if I ever get to that.....

You've done a great job on this kit....I built this kit a long time ago and found it was half way decent....The biggest problem I had with the kit was the omission of the rear bumper cover.....If you notice, the rear bumper doesn't match the rest of the car....I thought it was just missing on MY model, but I see that was not the case....Revell just dropped the ball....Obviously it's too late to say anything, now, but at least I know, now.....Thanks for inadvertently clearing that up..... But, like I said, you've done a really good job on this one.....Very nice....

Great work on this one...I'm sure she'll have oodles of fun playing with it....I hope you have some extra glue handy.....You know how kids are....

Excellent way to pass the time....I never bought one of these kits, simply because of the prepainted thing, but I have to admit, they do look good.....

Welcome aboard, Darren....Man, I remember those great big Osh Kosh rigs and Dragon Wagons.....I was with H&S 2/5 from '86 to '92....Outstanding to see another former active duty Marine around here....You're really gonna love this site....Ever since I was introduced to this one, I've been learning a LOT...The guys are friendly and honest....I've traded stuff with several people, here and each one went down without a hitch....And try modeltruckin.com for decals....He's got a BUNCH of stuff, there....Once again, welcome aboard.....And a big ol' OORAH!!!!!

I'm about as done as I'm gonna be with this one....Added a cattle car I built some time ago.....Put some orange accents around it and coupled it up to the Freightliner and this is the way it ended up....

Got this bad boy almost finished.....This is the gist of what it's gonna look like....Now it's on to customizing this thing.....Gotta add some chicken lights all around.....The next time you see this one, it'll be under glass..... Thanks guys for looking and commenting.....Thank you very much....

Oh, yeah....She's a beauty.....I saw one of these at Walmart and took a pic a few months ago, because I had the same idea..... As you can see, this is one fine representation of the real thing...As a matter of fact, it looks even better......Very well done, Rich....

Oh, Man...That is a cool rig.....I've got to get me one of these....I've seen them on line and I think they've been released, here....I've been waiting on another modern Euro rig....Yours looks fantastic.....Might need a few tool boxes and some side fairings or something, and it'll be Awesome....Great build...Nice conversion....

Thanks, Guys....You know what? All that dust came from another project I had going on in the garage....It's sheetrock dust.....It got EVERYWHERE!!!!! I'm STILL cleaning it out and off of stuff....

Made some more progress.... I'm also hoping to make a headache rack for this one, too....I think I'm going to end up with a good one, here....We'll see, though....
