Found these at Dollar General for $5 each....I thought they might have some potential for a decent load for something....It looks as though, I was right.....I was surprised at my find and, with a little work, I think these will be quite convincing; and for $5, I don't think I could go wrong....So I bought 3 of them.....

Man, this looks great....Awesome work....Those Aussie rigs look like the epitome of brute force....Awesome.... -
Man, this thing looks better all the time....I like the choice of the Bealle tanker for this truck...And the super singles are pretty awesome, too...I totally agree on your take on them, too.....I think the real ones should be this width, anyway....It just looks better.....And it's amazing....You see a lot of tankers with those, too...Nice work, Man...

Can't wait to see more of this one.... -
Dude, I always love to look at your work....It just blows me away each and every time I see something you've built....These things are awesome...Especially since there doesn't appear to be anybody else doing anything like this....At least not that I know of, anyway.....Very, very, nice work......And you say, "remotely steerable"....Now that's impressive....

Ford CL9000 would you buy?
kilrathy10 replied to Mr mopar's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Unfortunately, I'd be inclined to agree that resin model prices are a little rich for my blood....I do understand why they cost what they cost, but I just wouldn't be able to afford it.....Although I'd LOVE to have one, it seems a little steep for me to pay for the headache of working with resin..... -

Looks awesome, Man....I like the whole look....Great job.... -
Got the Charger built and found a bonus model.....I had forgotten about an old Mustang I had built for a friend a long time ago....I had gotten it back to repair it, but lost contact with her....So I just fixed it and displayed it with the Charger and truck.....I built the Charger, but I didn't enjoy it very much....It felt more like work than a hobby.....Although there is a fair amount of detail, it definitely doesn't go together well or very easy, for that matter....I had to level out the suspension and make a driver side mirror for it.....I still don't like it, but it looks good enough to display....All I have to do, now is add the air and electrical lines I got from Earl....Hope to get that done, very soon.....Well I hope you guys like it and thanks to all who shown interest in this build......God bless you all....

Very nice work....I like the idea of using the old Bic razor cover for the light bar.....Just goes to show what can be achieved with a little imagination.....I used to make them out of old flat tooth brushes, but they don't make those any more, so I'm left with using other things.....I really like your idea, though....Gonna have to use that one....Great work.... -

Awesome looking truck, Man...I like what you did with the bumper and I really like the fuel tanks......I tried my hand at building this truck.....The only problem I had was me.....I dropped the cab off the table, one day. ....Then I drove off with the freshly painted engine that I forgot I had set on the bumper to dry and ran over it.. ...Never got it together.....But I do have another one.... I think I'll try it one more time..... -

Thanks, Kostas....I appreciate all the info.....I saw that Iveco kit.....Man, I want one of those.....I'm still waiting for the online sites to stock a few.....You're right about the other MB kits....I built one of those, too and, as a matter of fact, built this one using the instructions from the MK2.....Very similar kits.....Even the part numbers were mostly the same.....And, I'm hoping for a new US kit, too....Preferably, a new Peterbilt, 386 or something..... -

Kostas, I understand about having spare time that you don't, exactly, want.....You have to keep the money flowing or things fall apart....I pray you do find a job in your field....God bless you and your family with success.....He loves us all.... Great work, by the way....I absolutely love how you did the front fenders.....It's so simple, I think, even I could do it.....
