Thanks, Guys....I appreciate the kind sentiments.....And, Mike, I agree with you....It was tough to get motivated to build 1/25 scale, again, but this kit just begged me to do something to it.....I wish I had a Pete or KW cabover to do this in 1/16 scale....THAT would be fun...

Although I promised an interior for this one, which I still plan to do, I discovered when I hooked it up to my 53' Allied trailer that it was a match made in Heaven....Tell me what you guys think.... This thing scales out at 84 plus feet!!! You'd never get it around a corner....

This is a great idea and an awesome way to carry it out...That's a pretty good idea for the grill....It looks a lot better than the kit version.....As far as the functionality of this thing, I don't think anybody at the fire station is going to be looking THAT closely.....I think you'll be all right....This is already an outstanding build.....I can't wait for the finished product....Awesome.....I might try my hand at one of these....

I agree....This is a good looking model.....I'd love to see some better shots of it....The color blend is excellent, and from what I can tell, you've done great work....

I got even more done, today.....Added the striping....Got it from two, Italeri LA Fire Dept. kits cut up here and there.....Broke up the orange quite well.... And thank you guys for your encouraging comments and continued interest in this project....God bless you all... I also added some side skirting for appeal....And now, it's on to the interior work....And I do mean work..... And a little side by side comparison to my other KW....I also connected it up to one of my cattle cars just to see what it might look like....

This is a very impressive representation....I can't say I care for the aesthetics , but you've done an excellent job replicating it....Very nice....

Got a lot more done, yesterday....It's pretty close to completion, but I'm gonna have to add some sripes or something to break up the monotany that is orange paint....It looks ok, but it's too plain.....I'll fix that when I get to the old decal box....Anyway.... After the striping or whatever I decide to do, it's on to the interior of the big box....

I've got another one going....I got it from my good buddy Earl Miller and I'm having a blast with this one....I've been looking for one of these for a long time and I'm taking advantage of it....He had started it with a pretty good Watkins paint job, but I've got a little bigger ambitions for this one, so I will not be using that particular scheme....You can only guess what color this one will be.... That's right....Orange....I guess I'm building a fleet of these things.....As you can see, I'm building a condo for it.....I plan to build an interior for it, as well....I haven't quite figured out how I want it to be, but I'll get to it, soon enough....
