  1. Very nicely done. 70's all the way.
  2. Those turned out super nice. Great job.
  3. Matt, how did you do that? I'm gonna be starting a '70 GTX soon and would love to add that detail. I think it looks kick ass.

    87 Buick

Looks way better than what's on the box. Great job.
  5. Joel, I think it looks perfect, I wouldn't change a thing.
  6. That is gonna look wickedly cool.
  7. NASCAR hasn't been the same in years, I've given it up. Great build, can't wait to see the finished product.
  8. Looks pretty Sh***y, but in a good way.

Sweet, '66 is the best looking Chevelle ever.

    1966 GTO

Love Pontiacs, can't wait to see where you go with it.
  14. Dave, you're welcome as well. I've got to finish up my Super Bee that I'm building to match the orange one Danbury Mint did. I missed out on it and they are way to expensive on the aftermarket.
  15. Doug, you're welcome.
  16. Thanks guys, Doug, yes, they are the white resin as well. I always mix a bit if black with my red to get the dark red look of real lenses when the lights are off.
  17. I'll do that Tom.
  18. John, the engine plan is for a stock 440 4 bbl. 4 spd. Already have a intake, carb and air cleaner.
  19. I'm doing a conversion of the Monogram Super Bee to a '69 Coronet R/T. The resin parts are from Hart's Parts and they are very well done. The kit comes with the hood, 3 piece tail panel section, hood scoops and rear fender side scoops. I'll soak 'em, clean them up, fill a few minute pin holes and paint them. Here are some pics for anyone else thinking about doing the conversion.
  20. Thanks Tom, will do.
  21. Looks pretty darn good for your first build in 20 yrs. I just got back into building a couple years ago when DM & FM quit making diecast. I'm building to add stuff to my collection I wouldn't be able to get otherwise. This was my first build after 25+ years of being out of it so keep at it, it's only up from here lol.
  22. You're welcome Nick, I got my parts from Hart's Parts, They are very well done and will make for a nice conversion.
  23. Thanks guys, I already have a tub of Westly's on hand, thanks for all your input, I do appreciate it. My project is converting the Monogram Super Bee into a Coronet R/T.
  24. Hey guys, I think this forum gets the most hits so I thought it would be the best place to ask to get a quicker response. I'm in the middle of a build and I'll be using resin parts for the first time, what's the best way to prep resin parts before painting them? Thanks, Geno.
