  1. Looks like the go-cart I always wanted! Maybe you could trick some unsuspecting kid into sitting in it, then give them a ride they would never forget!

    WOODN'T

That's really cool looking, nice build.
  3. That is really cool, nice job.
  4. Really sorry to hear about that, hopefully you can get back up on your feet and back to building soon.
  5. Have some more progress on the viper. Clear coat and decals are on, interior is finished, and the chassis is now a roller! Still quite a bit left but it is getting close.
  6. #22: Super glue dry time varies directly to how difficult the part is to hold in place. The more difficult the location, the longer the dry time.
  7. Definitely, I'm sure they will. Smog testing pretty much killed the hotrod option in California unless your car is older than 1975. If you drive an 86 like me, you better be happy with the slug of a stock motor. My friend recently wanted to sell his car, and had to get it smogged in order to do so. It wouldn't pass because he had some duck tape covering a crack in his intake tube. Apparently this counts as a "modification", which is now illegal. Makes me want to cry!
  8. Looking really good, can't wait to see some paint on it!
  9. I think the stance looks dead on Knarf, I don't think I would go any lower. Looks awesome so far.
  10. That is a nice looking car, but definitely not the right direction for a Mustang. The current mustangs have an awesome, aggressive look to them, and all this reminds me of is a turtle. I honestly think ford will really miss the mark if they put this car out.
  11. Looks like the new Taurus and the Aston mixed together. I think I would throw up if the new mustang looked anything like that.
  12. Definitely not what I was picturing.
  13. I had the same problem after photobucket changed. When you copy and paste the link, delete anything that comes after "jpg" in the URL, and it will post. Anyway, all of the builds are looking awesome, and I finaly have some progress to show on the Viper. Chassis is pretty much a roller, minus the wheels, and the body has it's color coats on. I airbrushed the testors One Coat Laquer for the first time and it worked a LOT better, I don't think I will even have to color sand before clear! I was originaly going to clear coat the wheels, but I think they look better with a satin sheen.
  14. That would be awesome to do ONE time, then never, ever again!
  15. Looking killer, that trike came out great.
  16. Wow, was this really that big of a deal? I honestly thought it was pretty funny.
  17. I also built the Jenson car a while back. I had only built one F1 car prior, but it was definately a fun challenge.
  18. Finally, someone gets it. Same goes for all the ridiculous OHV laws they are trying to create, but that is a whole nother story. . .
  19. Just be happy you don't live under the California regulations. Not only do you have to pass the emissions test, but they will fail you if they see something unplugged or removed from the stock engine bay. It amazes me to no end that you can have a clean running car that passes emissions, but can be failed only because some unnecessary part is removed. Almost all of the issues I have had with my 1:1 truck have been because of smog related systems. Not to mention that you can't modify a vehicle unless it is 1975 or older. Believe me, I would love to be able to mod my truck and swap motors and parts like people used to be able to back in the day, but thanks to these regualations I can't touch anything!
  20. Dang Comp, looking awesome so far. Should be a killer build.
  21. Another thing you can use to stop hobby knives from rolling is a simple zip tie. Just pull it tight around the knife and clip off the excess.
  22. Don't feel bad, they start even before you're 20, trust me.
  23. Wow, absolutely incredible. I remember seeing the WIP a while ago so it is awesome to see it done! Looks like it came out great.

    general lee x3

Awesome builds! I have been wanting to build a monster truck version for a while, I just haven't gotten around to it. It's cool to see one built.
