  1. Just for reference, this Viper was painted with Graphite Dust. I airbrushed it though because I have had more luck with using it that way.
  2. That looks like a killer project!
  3. That turned out really nice, awesome build.
  4. Have a bit more progress. The chassis is done and the motor is installed. Right now I am working on extending the interior tub, so hopefully that will go easily. Paint is the next step though I think!
  5. Looking great so far. I built the General kit and liked it a lot even with all of its shortcomings.
  6. Looking really good so far, I like the color a lot.
  7. Those are good points Danno. Either way, I will keep on bringing it with me because I really like to display it. Always important to remember, build for yourself, not others.
  8. The main build I am always surprised gets little to no attention is my 1/16 General Lee. I have a ton of work into it and I figured it would be a real hit at the shows, but at NNL West it pretty much went unnoticed. I worked a lot at converting it back into a stock Charger like the real Duke's car, but I think my inexperience at scratch building held me back. I had never attempted anything like it and it was a valuable learning experience. It is still one of my favorite cars I have built, but for whatever reason nobody sees what I see in it.
  9. That came out awesome, super clean build.
  10. That custom actually has a pretty cool look to it.
  11. Wow, very nice build. If you happen to remember, where did you get those rims?
  12. Man, this build is looking awesome! Great job so far.
  13. Wow, that is small! I can't imagine how you got that together so well, nice job.
  14. Looks like it came out really nice to me, great work.
  15. Super clean build, nice job
  16. Wow, that camino looks killer!
  17. Awesome, good to hear!
  18. I use my airbrush for chassis and usually color coats for bodies, but primer and clear are usually rattle canned. I really hate how much paint gets applied out of a can, so I always airbrush the Testors OCL now except for the clear. Not sure why but all I get is paint reacctions when I shoot the OCL colors straight out of the can, but they go on great with an airbrush. Why don't they offer them in bottled form?!
  19. Finally a little bit of progress. Haven't been working on it a whole lot since it has been so nice outside lately. So far I have the body pretty well smoothed out. It took a LOT of bondo and sanding to get it to look right but it is almost there. The motor is also done, and is just the box stock Yenko 427. I still have to figure out what to do for the taillights, but I think I will just cut out the back to accept the kit ones.

    Ferrari F430

Very unique, I really like the color.
  21. Great build Space, I really like the engine wiring.
  22. This is an awesome thread, lots of crazy creations on here!
  23. I had the same problem. All you have to do is delete everything in the URL that comes after "jpeg" after you copy and paste it to the forum. For some reason, all of mine say "original" at the end after the photobucket change, so now I have to delete that every time I post a pic.
  24. Wow, that is a really nice weathering job. I would ask where the keys are, but I don't think that will be back on the road any time soon.
  25. Yet another awesome build, really nice job on this one slusher. Always good to see your super smooth paint!
