  1. Looks awesome! The World of Outlaws just came to my town a few weeks ago and it was awesome to see those cars run in person. The skill those guys have is unreal!
  2. Great build, very clean!
  3. You won't be late, you will just be early for next year!
  4. Paint! I swear lately I can't even put a mist coat on a body without some sort of new reaction I haven't seen before.
  5. Really sorry to hear that ARC. As a fellow rider (I ride dirt only though), I can defininetly relate to what you went through. Hopefully you recover quickly and can get back in the saddle soon!
  6. Awesome! Reminds me of when Pastrana used to race for Subaru
  7. Awesome ones, and we would all be having way too much fun in them to have time to build model cars!
  8. Thanks for the tutorial TF, I'll have to try that on something soon. Doninik, time will tell my friend, time will tell. . .
  9. Wow, how did you mask the viper emblem? Did you have a precut mask or did you cut it yourself?
  10. That looks awesome, great build! The weathering is very well done.
  11. Man that is slick, great job.
  12. I'm in, can't wait to see what you do with it!
  13. Enjoy second place! All kidding aside though, the truck is looking great. Should be a good race!
  14. Good luck tomorrow, everyone here is pulling for you and I know all will go well.
  15. To transport mine to shows, I just roll up the small sheets of felt that you can buy at any craft store, and stuff it in between each model. I make sure that they are all tightly wedged so there is no movement and it provides a lot of stability. Here is a picture of what I am talking about. For the record, the top two cars are not mine, my friend built them:
  16. Challenge accepted
  17. Looking good Dominik!
  18. Not really sure why people are getting so worked up over this, it is just a simple opinion. Some like them, some don't, nothing wrong either way. For those that do like them, here are a few pics of some of my favorites from the Goodguys show I attended in Pleasanton, CA yesterday. Didn't think to bring the camera, so sorry about the cellphone pics.
  19. Extra dark anyone?
  20. That guys does some incredible work. I have read his book/how to manual and it is a very well written and illustrated piece. And he does it all without a lift if I remember right, only jack stands!
  21. I agree, 23 inch rims were never meant to be on any pro-touring car.
  22. I changed my oil not too long ago, I suggest every keep changing theirs as well.
  23. I don't know about some of you guys, but watching these things fly around an auto cross course is something you have to see to believe. My dad built a 1:1 pro touring car out of a 69 firebird and it is wicked fun to ride in the passenger seat during an autocross event. I think this is one of the coolest build styles and it definitely isn't going away any time soon. In my opinion, the second generation camaros look the best in this style.
  24. No kidding! It really isn't any different mechanically, just everything has to have some "flare" to it, if you know what I mean.
