  1. Thanks a lot guys! No, luckily the 1/16 kit comes with the correct rear glass. I think the newer 1/24 kits also come with the correct glass, but someone please correct me if I am wrong.
  2. Here is another past build. It is the 1/16 69 Charger General Lee from Round 2, however I modified the heck out of it to make it somewhat resemble a stock charger like the Duke boys had. I opened the trunk, and built a new engine bay and front suspension. Exhaust is also scratchbuilt along with the tank straps. Interior is about 50% scratchbuilt, including a rear seat and center console. This project taught me a lot about scratchbuilding, and although I could probably build it better now, it is still one of my favorite builds and a lot of time and effort was put into it. Hope you guys enjoy! 3. Holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, that is awesome! What is the goal with that type of racing, how do you win?
  4. Looks like a great build, awesome job!
  5. That must have happened the first year it came to Antioch. I saw it last year for the first time and it was awesome! I go to the track every now and then to watch the local races, but the WoO race is crazy.
  6. http://cs.scaleautomag.com/sca/modeling_subjects/f/29/t/102662.aspx?sort=ASC&pi209=1 This might help you. I converted mine a while ago so hopefully it can give you some ideas.
  7. Awesome build Kenny, just incredible.
  8. I think the new McLaren looks the best so far, but that is my oppinion. Wonder how Mercedes will handle Hamilton this year.
  9. Thank you!!! I have been wanting a kit of this since I started building. The 80s stadium trucks are by far the coolest offroad trucks in my book, I wish I was alive to see them run at the time. That was real racing, trucks flying everywhere and not a yellow flag in site. I have seen the races through youtube and this was just crazy back in the day. I also wouldn't mind some modern dirtbike kits. Would be great to build a replica of my 06 RM-250, but I doubt the market is there.
  10. I haven't gotten a bad sheet yet, but I am only on my second one. Just as a quick tip with this stuff, since it is just really thin aluminum, it can be polished with aluminum polish. I just set the sheet on a flat, hard surface and use Mothers mag and aluminum polish and it doubles the shine like you wouldn't believe.
  11. I think he is refering to the game where you punch your sibling or friend when you see a VW bug on the road. My cousins and I used to do that, but instead we would kick each other when we saw a lifter truck.
  12. That is just too cool, looks like a great go-cart motor.
  13. That's funny, I saw this car in person an a Billet proof show and was absolutely amazed by it. I had no idea what it was or the story behind it, but I can definately tell you it is incredible in real life.
  14. Looks good as usual carl, glad you posted it. The later model firebirds just don't seem complete without the flaming bird on the hood!

    Awesome build, great color choice.
  16. When i got my 86 toyota pickup, one of the first things my dad told me was to not strain the drivetrain. That meant not to ever use the engine to slow the truck since it is a lot easier to replace pads than a drive train part. It could be that you have a small rear main seal leak that is contaminating your clutch's friction surface. Since it is a dry system, unlike a lot of motorcycles, this could be causing your slip. It could also be that there was a bit of contamination when your friend replced it, if he did not bother to clean it.

Dang, that came out awesome! I can't believe how nice the paint is, couldn't be any better. Nice cherry bombs for the exhaust as well.
  18. Looks great, nice build.
  19. Talk about clean, unbelievable paint. Looks like it would be a blast to drive.
  20. Looks good, nice job on the weathering.
  21. Awesome, came out great!
  22. A good paint foundation is just so important. Don't think you will run out of options with that many colors to choose from.
  23. Nice! I really like this style of build and yours came out spot on.
