  1. I honestly can't imagine this happening in my town. It makes me think that since I go to a public high school, this is all to big of a reality, and if it were to happen we are packed in like sardines and have no way to defend ourselves. Definately makes you think twice about the small, day-to-day problems. Thoughts and prayers go to the the families and especial the heroic teachers that are coming forth.
  2. Looks good, I like the color a lot.
  3. The JM in my screen name is just stands for Josh M. The 485 has a bit of a longer history. Back when I was around 3 or 4 years old, my dad tried to get me into BMX racing, and that was the number the league gave me. I never caught on to racing until I was 8, but the number stuck and I have been using it on everything since. The avatar is a picture of me at the starting line of a hillclimb. They have us start in front of a hill and you race to time to the top, and that photo was taken when I was on the line warming up the bike. I think it was from the April 2012 race.
  4. Should be cool, hope it all goes smoothly.
  5. The question is, what time zone decides when the world ends? Does it start once the east hits 12:00, or when the pacific hits 12:00? Funny story about this, when everyone was all freaked out about the year 2000 thing, one of my old teachers told me he called up a buddy in Europe and asked him if the world ended at around 9 o'clock Pacific time, which gave him three hours to spare just to prove to his wife it was all a hoax. Needless to say, the world was still intact.
  6. That was awesome at 2:30 when the camera man got hit with roost!
  7. One of them came into our school auto shop a few years ago after a spark plug had shot out of the head and smashed into the hood. If you own one, make sure your spark plugs are tight!
  8. Thanks Ray!
  9. Awesome, that thing is super clean!
  10. That lift is awesome! All of the cars look great as well.
  11. Thanks guys!
  12. Thanks Mike, I appreciate it.
  13. Here is my build of a 69 camaro extreme pro touring car that I finished earlier this year. It is basically a camaro shell sitting on a modern corvette chassis and is powered by an LS motor. I came up with the idea after looking around the NNL West show, and was able to get the parts I needed at the swap meet. This was the first time I had purchased from the aftermarket as well. The harness set is from detail master, the air filter is from scale dreams, and the centerline wheels are from Pegassus. Most of the interior is scratchbuilt, as is the roll cage and exhaust. Hope you guys enjoy!
  14. Here is the interior bucket for my 69 camaro pro touring car. It is sitting on a corvette chassis with independent front and rear suspension. The bucket itself is highly modified and the floor is scratchbuilt along with the roll cage and dash. Seats are from Scale Dreams.
  15. This race I might actually watch
  16. I have the same problem, but it is usually only with my first post after I enter the site. After that, things generally work smoothly.
  17. Buy a nice plot of land, an army of tractors, and build the best dirtbike track the world has ever seen! Or maybe 3. . .
  18. There is also a monogram Datsun pickup sold as "Offroad pickup". I'm currently trying to convert it into a toyota to make a model of my 1:1 truck.
  19. Awesome build, very clean.
  20. Awesome! Definately looks the part. So are you telling me that I can't take a stock 69 charger, jump it over a creek and drive away cleanly?!
  21. That is a great point Harry, didn't think of that. However, to be fair, the EPA has been trying to kill our sport for years, they just haven't succeded nor will they!
  22. Lots of killer cars here!
  23. Thanks a lot guys, the wheels actually came in the kit. Not sure why but not a lot of builders use them.
  24. The new track ended up better than I expected. Eventually I'll bet that first corner becomes one of the most iconic in the sport. As for speed becomeing an all sports network, that would really be a huge loss since that is one of the only channels I watch. Hope someone picks up the Monster Energy Supercross series.
  25. While 125 horses is impressive, think of the new 450cc dirtbike motors that push over 50 horsepower stock from a single cylinder engine! Plus that is with no turbo or anything, only fuel injection! Imagine what the factory race bikes can make. . .
