    I sometimes spray Testors flat black over the whole grille and then wipe it off the high spots with a little mineral spirits and a swab- it's a little less work that way

    I finally figured out why my '85 Dodge mini-truck gets such terrible mileage- the fuel pump body has a crack in it and sprays fuel out the bottom So I went to pull the fuel pump, the nuts came off pretty easy, only I can't get the fuel pump to come out far enough to clear the studs because it hits a part of the carb

    I've found metalizer works best sprayed in one thin coat on unprimed, polished plastic (at least for me).

    I'm sure it would. WD40 is mostly Stoddard solvent, which is is similar to kerosene, and light petroleum oil. There is no silicone or fish-oil in it as some people believe. Pure lemon extract also removes adhesive residue and leaves things smelling lemony-fresh

    It's 51 and sunny here right now- we've already got jonquils popping up in the yard!

    I have what's left of a gallon of the original Castrol Super-Clean that's over 12 years old and it's still more powerful than the newer stuff

    It'll also affect some Tamiya lacquers WD40 and naptha will remove BMF adhesive residue and are pretty safe for most finishes
