I didn't have time to do the scans today, had to run to Flintstone's and drop off a couple projects for him to cast and ran to the hobby store to get some paint!!!! the body I made is pretty close to that of the MPC kit body.. it does have a little more kick up in the rear like the real car does, and it's shorter under the engine (side panels). Not sure what kind of market is out there for a body but I do know someone out there is making one now!!! Altered States I think!!!?? im going to take pics of my body next to the MPC kit body along with scan of my body and the side panel that I used to get the initial side panel cut without the top curved portion of the body. That will give a better idea of the true side panel.... then the scan of the entire body will give overall side size of it!!!!!

I too only trade for the most part with people I know. I have a list of guys that I know are upstanding guys and had no issues with. Yes the P.O. Loses stuff or what have ya. I'm just skeptical after a guy on here burned me before and has been banned from here for scamming others!!!! If it's something small and not worth much I'll take a chance but not if it's a high dollar kit!!! I know it sucks to be taken on stuff like this, I know I felt that way.....

Engine side panels cut and sanded yesterday, need a little more fine tuning to get them looking better.. engine is going together little by little too!!!

This body and decals are on loan to me from a friend of mine. The photo shows where they end on the MPC body.......

those are a nice starting point, they don't reach all the way under the engine. Those will come to a stop right where the footwell meets the bulkhead and the back of the block.. the real car they kind of fade away as they come forward and almost disappear at the front under the sponsor decal...

not misquoting you, you come on here and make mention about how Pedro copies another and how he is a rip off artist. If that's the case and I'm trying to point out that if he is doing so then the countless others that are doing the same thing then they too must be rip off artists??!! Do you agree?? Probably not because you probably think using kit parts is ok to use and "copy" without the manufacturers consent to turn around and use it as a profit to yourself. That and yes you personally isolate and attack a friend of mine... others have seen the fact that when you come on the forum and right away start attacking people in the manner that you did, people are going to get offensive. In the way I said you thought your stuff was all that, yeah words weren't used to say as much but the way you come on here pointing out that what other people are doing leads one to think that's what you were doing.... like what has been said if you expect people to buy your stuff you need to have a little bit better way of coming on here and talking about your product!!! If you want people to buy your stuff to come on here bashing another resin maker makes you look like the idiot not the guy your bashing!!! Just saying!!! unless a resin maker sits there and carves what he is doing from a resin or plastic block, can he say it's 100% original and not copied!!! When someone uses another resin product or a model kit part and uses it in his or her design, casts it and re sells it, that to me is copying, but everyone including big manufacturers do that in the business.. That's why I've said what I've said about you, but you may not see it that way while others do!!! Therefore the reason it ticked me off when you isolate one person!!! take this or leave it but I'm going to be the better man here!!! I apologize for what I have said, after this I will say no more about you or against you!!!! It's up to you if you want to apologize to the other members of the forum for your actions, but I'm apologizing for mine!!! well to start off you could claim it "exclusively" if you started from scratch, not using kit parts etc. by using a kit part that some engineer worked to master in the manufacture in question and not only that they probably have a copy right on. You're thriving around and using it for your gain... therefore you're kind of ripping off their hard work at making the kit in the first place.... im not sure how a copy cat could end future resin development, I mean look at all the resin companies that are out there now and look at what they're doing!!!! I don't see the resin world going anywhere anytime soon!!!! yes ok you didn't really come out and "directly" say they were but when you come on here and talk about how good their stuff was and how good your stuff is and start poking fingers at others and calling them rip off's kind of makes you look really bad!! By looking at the responses your getting, I'm guessing I'm not the only one a bit peeved by your comments...... mas for you starting your own resin company but maybe ya won't!!!! I thank ya!!!!!!!! Reason being I wouldn't buy from ya anyway!!!!!!! I go two hours South of me and stop by my friend Pedro and get one from him and have a good laugh about it!!!!!! now where's Pedro's phone number. I've got decals coming as well as some of the small sponsor type decals that anothe has, it would be kool to have someone with the decals ready to print in case others want to build this American Icon!!!!!!!

blower is a light brown, bronze looking color. It very well could be Magnesium. Guess I need to take a run to the hobby store and check out the bottled paints!!!!!
