I'd build, cut up, chop what ever was thrown my way. I had a vintage kit years ago (forget what it was). I was going to chop the top and make a kustom out of it. He had me at a $125.00 bid to buy it just so I wouldn't cut it. Needless to say I watched him cry when I drew the saw accross the posts. To me plastic is plastic!!!!!!!!!
I know that may upset some on the forum, but I'm sorry, just how I see it..
Saw mine in there, back quarter of the 65 Impala with Ingram services on it....
The frames on Vette's are steel and will rust. Other than that you won't see it on the body panels.
Looking at the photo as it is here, with the A body it looks like you could squeeze a radiator and fan in there. Albeit the spring perch is going to close to the radiator but you could get something to fit in there. Find a thinner radiator core and slim down the mounting area on a fan blade it could work. You could also thin down the water pump pulley to gain a bit more room too. Especially if you're liking the coupe body. I know I do. The frame doesn't look to out of place either. It looks like it fits with the style of build.
I say press on with the coupe!!!!!!
