That's a lot like on the 1:1 cars with serious flake. It goes on rough and you have to lay on many multiple coats to bury the flake!!!

One good thing is on the ol dirt cars they didn't have to look to good. And this being your first it's a good stepping stone in learning the kustom art. This way you'll get your feet wet and have better knowledge on the next build!!!! It is looking good to!!!!! I wish I could of built that nice on my first kit!!!!

I went and looked at my son's old toys and found some of those toy skateboard wheels and yes they will work nicely. I don't think now that he is 26 and off married he will ever miss them either. But Steve, what about the grand kids???? LOL
