  1. No! They don't!! And yet they wonder why they have a semi or large truck in their trunk when they do!!
  2. WOW, looks good so far. Hopefully you hear back soon!!
  3. Right! Used to see them here all the time! I have a couple of them in my small scale die cast truck collection but none in plastic. Hopefully they’ll re pop it some year before I die!
  4. Welcome and hopefully you got something useful out of my mumblings!!! Looking forward to seeing your build come together!!!
  5. Be watching this one Jerry, always liked the old IH's!!!!
  6. Congrats Jeff and a big thank you to Brian!!!!
  7. Like Brian and I mentioned there are a ton of different applications depending on what room you have, drive line implications, bunk house/cab clearance etc.. If you’re stretching the frame then can/bunk house won’t be an issue. You more than likely be building a steerable tag tag but the search I did brought some up in it. Check out the link and look at the pics, it’ll give you a ton of ideas. Then think of what would work best for what you’re building. Then a lot of times some websites will pick them apart so you can see separate parts to better know how to fab them up. https://www.google.com/search?q=non+lifting+tag+axle&client=safari&hl=en-us&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiVhbzk1_TjAhXCW80KHYrEAOsQ_AUoAnoECA4QAg&biw=375&bih=544
  8. Ya all built some great stuff!!! Wish I could of gotten my stuff together and got in on it.. Wouldn’t of been as nice as what you all did though!!
  9. I just cut down springs and/or mounts, use shorter air bags if you want the axle off the ground. I also use plastic tube for a straight axle type. Take a look at the real tag axles on rigs to get an idea too. That will help big time.. Not sure if I helped or made you more confused..
  10. True! I haven’t built those yet but have seen a couple opened.. be nice to see more that way..
  11. Right, would be easier than 6 parts to build a mirror and mounts...
  12. LOL, mirrors can be fun on some of the rig kits!! A bit finicky too!!!
  13. Waupon Wisconsin is having their big rig show starting tomorrow.. I'll be up there tomorrow afternoon/evening.. Good time and a lot of kool rigs!!! http://waupuntrucknshow.com/
  14. LMBO, hopefully not as well....
  15. Ditto that!!!! Cheers to days of better health ahead Jacobus!!!
  16. Can't wait to see both of them come to life!!
  17. You can do it!! Just take your time and pre fit stuff as you go!! You'll be fine with it Jerry!!
