  1. Sorry to hear he lost the battle! Thought last and prayers to you his family and his friends!
  2. Thanks Brian! I’m Thinking it’ll look good behind the KW if I paint it blue, or any rig I put it behind for that matter. I’m thinking the lead rig will look close to my friends W9. Although his doesn’t have a tag axle...
  3. Turned out awesome Brian! Like the low air pressure in the tires!!
  4. Very kool! Like where they are heading..
  5. Thanks Charlie! Zoom Zoom!! Thank you much! Glad you like!
  6. Looks awesome Mark!!!
  7. Cut strips of a soda can to the right width and use a straight pin for the hinge pin, bend them the same way you'd bend the photo etch cab door hinges and you'd have a good representation of them Chris.. Use a small screwdriver to get the bends tight against the pin!!
  8. Hope you get back at the bench soon Dan!!
  9. Looks great so far Brian!! Can't wait to see it come together!!!
  10. Looked like a great show! I'm going to have to scroll through the pics later!!
  11. That don't look to bad!!! Still reminiscent of the 389 in some ways. A person could put a 389 hood on it with some work and keep the squared off look of the hood...
  12. They could be rebuilt easily enough!! If not I know a good loving home for them!! Wink wink.....Providing I have anything you'd be looking for....
  13. Muah ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Wringing my hands together as I look down at my next specimen.... I mean victim..... I mean...... He he he he he he he!!! Look out!!! The Doc is lurking about!! Getting warm up here now.. Humid today at work.. Well one of!! I work at John Deere as my primary job running a steel punch press. Part time I work at my buddy's shop working on trucks and getting into driving them. He does a lot of flat bed work and hauls precast for buildings and parking structures.. Not quite as heavy as the model I'm building but pretty close!!! 150 foot concrete beams that are 6 feet wide and 6 feet tall. Forget what they weigh out at... Glad to hear you're building!!! Can't wait to see your builds again my friend!!!!
  14. Thank you my friend! Good seeing ya back here Gator!!
  15. I agree there!!! They should of just left it at one!!
  16. Ok this was a quick throw together.. A person could use a wooden one with holes drilled and pins used. I use metal and magnets so they can be placed anywhere. I also have square steel plates that I can use under the frame to “shore” it up in the air if it needs something to keep it level and flat. I have a center line drawn down the center so that I know if the frame is straight as it dries. I put a slight curve in the frame you see here, you don’t want much of a bend as it may bend the other way.. i have even used a combination square across the back of the rails to keep the rails even with each other as I glue the center two crossmembers in, then wait for them to dry really good before you start working the bends out.. If you have anymore questions ask away, I can show better pics too if needed! Last pic shows the over over bend better...
  17. I'll take some pics tonight for you!! I have a KW frame built so I can use it to show some of how I use it.. Hmmm? I'd like to know too.... LOL
  18. Just realized you're in Sweden, may not be an idea to ship with the cost and all.. Not sure how much it would be but it's still an option..
  19. With the way I do it would work too... Start in the middle of the frame and glue it two of the cross members and keep the two sides parallel with each other so it doesn't throw off the rest of the frame. Working your way out from the middle and holding rails in place as they dry will save that no problem.. Just to toss it out there, if you're unsure about doing it and you feel safe doing it, you could box the frame parts and send them here and I can put the frame together for you. Just a thought!! I can take pics of my jig if you'd like as well to give you an idea of what I have and how to use it if it would help. I use a smaller one for car and light duty trucks too...
  20. Thank you Tom!! No stopping it now!! LOL Have to get working on the KW soon too!!! Have to fit the resin hood to it and mount air cleaners and build in a bit at the cowl.. I may paint it similar to the Pete but not sure yet!??! May paint it blue to match my bosses W9, who knows?!?! LOL
