  1. LOL, done it!! Be surprised with what we haul and how many people drive under the load to pass or turn on the right!!! Can you say EEEDIOTS??!!!
  2. Heck, I'm employed and I still can't afford the hobby.. .Keep your chin up Kostas, there has to be better roads ahead for us!!!
  3. Wishing ya the best of luck in racing Vince. If you ever get up into Wisconsin racing let me know!!
  4. Sounds like a ton of fun!! , I meant the air pressure checks!!! LOL....Heaviest I've had behind me is 70,000 on a tri axle. Just a container trailer modified to hold the double t precasts...
  5. Man you are one Lucky Duck!!!
  6. That would be nice!! I haven’t heard anything on my end
  7. Ditto that! Don’t need a fancy smancy work bench to build kool stuff! Meh! Lol ? True there Vince, I know what Tom means by a heavy unit like that won’t be able to be driver changed and would need a fleet service to help with it. I also know what you mean by a certain truck, Jeep or steer car may have its own unique bolt pattern on it etc... I think I’ll go with keeping the spare on it and see where it goes.. lol
  8. Colors are always a tough decision!! I'm going through the same problem on my heavy haul W9...
  9. It is but I manage!! All my unbuilt stuff is in the garage... I take stuff to work on during breaks too which helps... My area is so narrow that I added shelves on top of my bench and went up with everything. Usually the bench is to allow two people to sit at it but had to use the top surface for my stereo and shelves on the other side.. LOL, It can be sometimes Dennis!! Right now it's full of the heavy haul build!! Along with a few other toys!! LOL Been a lot of kool things come off of that old bench, had that bench for 12 years now. Made from an old hollow core door with peel and stick checkerboard tiles on it.. Works like a charm!!
  10. Will be watching Ken! Been wanting to do one of these myself only single drive..
  11. Very nice, great work on it Lee!! Doc
  12. Very KOOL, thanks for the full view pic. Does the rig justice to see the rear axle set up!!
  13. Very nice! Can you post a pic of the entire truck?
  14. Wow! Just wow! Great work as always!!
  15. Lol! I’m the same way. Know where everything is for the most part on the bench. I too have a wip shelf in the corner of my area.. The shelf in the corner on the right is all my wip’s, well most of them. I have a few above my bench too! You can see the bottom of the glass shelf near where the feather is hanging from..
  16. Lol! Very carefully!! This one is here, that one is there, those are.... whoops ?
  17. Chain box has been cut and lifted to fit in place!! Lol! Good ol’ Modelers adhd!! Mmm 352 Pete that needs mud flaps put back on, a 34 Ford Tudor Sedan needing put back together, a 50 Ford pickup Kustom project, the Jeep to this build along with the steer car.. A Ferrari race car project I started a few years ago, a 60 Oldsmobile that I got from Vince a couple years ago. Oh and a 77 Mustang drag car! Along with a Freightliner s/d truck that I got from James on the forum that I’m putting back together! Lol, I think that’s it!! Then there’s the shelf above my work area!
  18. Well this is with the hood sides built in, hood fitted, bunk house built and notched for tire clearance. Battery boxes are mounted and fuel tank sitting in its area to get an idea of where it’ll be thought about putting a chain box/head ache rack in but it’ll have to sit above the tag axle.???
