She's not the type of it's just a car, she can appreciate and old hot rod or factory stock car for what they are and all, she just thinks I have to much... Meh!!! Me doan theenk so!!!!!
  8. Nice looking Star!! Like the Mercury sleeper on it too!!!
  9. Love it, the slight weathering is a nice touch on it!!! Like the contrast of the aluminum front wheel with chrome hub cap on it!! Along with the rust on the exhaust pipe and rear wheels!!
  10. I use a jig, metal base with magnets to hold while gluing. I start at the center/middle crossmember and glue it or two in place. Then working my way out to the ends I use the magnets to force the frame past the bend and glue it. After it dries it usually relaxes back to where it should be. I don't force it really far past the point but far enough to bring it back straight again.. I build all my truck frames like that just so I know they are staying straight, helps a lot in the build of any truck...

  19. Here’s the dolly so far. Cross members all in, air tanks mounted, fifth wheel plate mounted as are axles and air bag mounts. Need to make top plates for air bags and drill supply line in each. Run air lines and valves and backing plates and brake bellows then time for paint!! I'm glad I decided to make a new dolly!! I didn’t like the look of the other one at all!! Added an x brace....
