Ummmm that’s not a replica!! That’s one of the actual BJ show trucks! Look at the side and you’ll see Paul Sagehorn! That’s the number 3 rig from the show. Paul is from Sparta Wisconsin! The trailer is the one he had before he found and acquired the Brown branded trailer. This trailer in the pic was totaled out from what I remember hearing?! Pauls dad Craig spends quite a bit of time behind the glass in this rig!

Been picking away at it. in paint but not sure I like the color I put on it. Pull truck (KW) chassis is almost done and sitting on rolling stock minus the tag axle wheels and tires, engine is mostly built. Suspension is being set up for the dolly but won't go on until the KW is set up so I know height for the dolly. Hoping to work on it more this weekend!! Get some pics soon....

I’ve been tossing around how I want to do the front end on this. I’m still not sure on how yet... I thought of putting a valance across and under where the grille would be, I thought of not putting a grille in at all and just angling back a chin spoiler to top of hood as the engine will be mid mounted. Also thinking of not having any opening of any kind in n the nose for aerodynamics and such. Still trying to figure out the back of the cab too. Think I’ve came to the conclusion the opera windows will be filled in...

Smoother ride with less of a buck when you hit bumps or coming onto a bridge etc. you get less shockwave through the truck. -

Very kool! Used to build the 18,000 series crawlers for Manitowoc Crane Group. 7 feet tall, 7 1/2 feet wide and about 38 feet long. 90,000 pounds or so and they hauled them out on Phantom aluminum flat beds with two 4x4’s front and rear. One guy came in and wanted the timbers at the center of the trailer, brand new trailer had only made one run with it. We told him you’re not gonna want the timbers there you’ll blow the back bone out of the trailer but he insisted! Next time he came down to load up he told us he had a brand new aluminum paper weight he’d sell us!! Brand new trailer became scrap in one haul. If he’d only listened!! Like these crawlers though!! Would like to get a couple myself for loads!! Now if I could only build a carrier as nice as yours!! Lol

I’ll hopefully be getting two from the Aerodyne Kit a friend of mine has. I’m using the Revell kit so mine will have doors open and they will show.. Not sure how hard the K123 seat bases are to find!? -

Beautiful build!! Do you have a build thread on it? Curious to see how it went together. Did you make your stacks for it?? -
You read my mind!! Lol getting there... Extended the rear quarter panels, opened up the rear lower quarters to act as an air inlet for engine cooling. The pointed areas on top of the quarters will hold a spoiler in case anyone is wondering!! I’m thinking of eliminating the opera windows in the corners of the back wall... Also thinking of putting two bars from the stock grille across the front to fill the gap..
