  8. Sounds like a good idea!!
  9. Thank you John, working on putting the engine together today. Painted it last night and dropped it but oh well. Not gonna see much of it anyway... Have turbos on the way from Canada, thanks Rick!!! Body is at home feeling a bit gassy today, primer is a bit tacky so I left it to gas out a bit more....
  10. Hey Bill, seen your work here and elsewhere! Love it by the way. Question on your individual cases for your rigs, did you have the plexi custom made or can they be bought in that size and whichever way what did they cost? I’ve been thinking of the same way of displaying my rigs that way...
  11. Very nice work Justin!! Like the look of it... kind of looks familiar in some way... LOL, I have one similar... Will be watching..
  12. Putting what hopefully will be the last coat of primer on this thing today at work!! Hee hee.... Still debating on what color to paint it.... Also have the engine and trans in primer, will be painting that this week and getting it built. Chassis section is together and ready to mount engine into the truck body.
  13. Good ideas! Right now mine are sitting in boxes as I don’t have a lot of room anymore! I need to figure out some ideas to display them better..
  14. Easy enough question right? I've been curious to know how everyone displays their trucks and /or trailers. Do you have a glass display case? Open shelves? custom lexan covers? I'm not sure if this has been covered or not, if it has I'm sorry. I'm just curious to know how everyone displays their works of art.. That and trying to get ideas of how I want to display mine! Post photos if you don't mind, if you don't want to or can't post pics that's ok too! Thanks in advance and can't wait to see your displays!! Doc
  15. What Jaroslav said!! I cut the pins off too so they sit flush on the rails...
  16. I've still got my old 352 from about 20 years or more ago. Had to put a new bumper and hinges on it though. After years of being in storage and moved around they had enough.. Can't wait to see yours come together though!!
  17. Can't wait til you get started on it!!! Looks like a kool project to me!!!
  18. Looking good! I got to looking at the Coca Cola trailer and the back end and doors and such. If I’m seeing it right I think the doors on that are closer to the Bear trailer! They are wider and come closer to the outer edges of the frame work. If someone can verify that it would be helpful!!
  19. Thank ya!! It has been a ton of work so far.... As for what I was drinking????? I better not say, the local authorities may come knocking on my door if I said it out loud!!!!!
  20. So far this is where it is... Thinned our all the resin from underneath, bored out tail lights for the exhaust, cut tonneau for engine, cut down the engine to fit within the height of the truck bed..
  21. Lol, not sure if I like the look yet though!?
