  1. Thanks Dennis ! Mark, I am not sre on the Mixer, have not opened that box up yet. Sean, this stuff came from an old Hobby Shop that closed down, and the old guy who owned it was a huge modeler. The guy I got this bunch from brought home four pickup loads plus a 16 ft trailer piled four feet high.
  2. Thanks Guys !! Terry, I was already thinking about the tag axle, now i need to go look at pics of sleepers. lol James, it came from Billings. JT, I have no idea what I will do with it all yet. It will take awhile to inventory it all, and I will post more pics as I unpack stuff.
  3. I have been working on a deal for some big rig stuff for about nine months. The guy delivered the pickup load of kits, built ups, partial builds, and parts, parts, and more parts. The one that intrigues me the most is the stretched KW. I just need to figure out what to put on it. lol
  4. Since this project is a time filler, it will go slow at times. We now have the cab stripped and after three days of scrubbing, the chassis is painted. We also have the front end blown apart and started prepping the hood panels. Inside of the frame covers are painted as well. It will be painted in University of Wyoming colors.....Brown and Yellow.....and used for parades.
  5. Awesome kitbash, storyline, and weathering !!
  6. What a beautiful survivor !! I agree with the stripes, they really make the model.
  7. Every time I see a nice Bison, I change my mind on how I want to build mine.
  8. We do mainly collision work, but always have at least one old car on the go as a time filler. This is where my first love lies. In the five years that I have been there, we have done a '72 Suburban, '70 ElCamino, Two '70 Mustangs, '73 Roadrunner, '63 Fairlane, '70 Impala, '73 Eldorado, '86 Chev Short box and a 1951 Ford 8n.
  9. Speaking of Mustangs....we just finished this one up at the Body shop I work at. Its an Acapulco Blue 1969 Mach I with a Dual Quad 428 CJ pushing over 650 hp.
  10. Thanks guys, and yea, its already a 1:1 model. lol
  11. I work at a body shop and this is one of the latest jobs. Its a 1976 359 Pete that has a 25 foot 9 inch wheelbase, and custom panels to cover the frame,as well as fenders, bumper and other bits. It will get blown apart, and painted. Matching front fenders are still in their packaging as well as a new rear window panel. We are going to pull the cab to make it easier on us. Hopefully i can reproduce it in miniature after its all done. Oh, and the drive train is much newer.
  12. That is a wild as well as huge undertaking. I will follow along for sure.
  13. I hope your wife does not miss her necklaces......
  14. Just got home from a vacation to SoCal. While I was there I was able to attend the Keller show. Between that show and a friend who lives there, this is what I brought home with me.
  15. Thanks, its a 1972, and dual carbed. Sweet running old car. Needs some TLC like they all do. lol
  16. That is such a nice haul, I had to go check my stash and see if mine were still there. Oh, and found a set of later model BMW wheels made by BBS for the old Bavaria. Just what we wanted, classy but not too mdern.
  17. Now THIS I like !! Back when I was a teenager I attempted this same conversion....lets just say it did not go anywhere near as good as yours.
  18. Ok, here is what I had trickle in over the last week. A guy I know is having to get out of the hobby so he made me a deal on a number of nice kits plus a huge box of supplies. I traded for the big rigs, a 1/12 1967 Corvette, and the Yellow Porsche. The wheels are five spoke cragars with wide whites. The resin engines are both early Mopar Wedge engines, and the parts pack 283. The super Clean Olds Chassis will be used under the Ferrari....
  19. I appreciate it. Oh, and I bet she beats your butt on the Wii.
