  1. If it hauls anything, it will be a cattle pod. So I plan on building one of those as well. lol I am wondering if the older rigs will live longer in WY, the state does not care about all the emissions.
  2. We have been plugging away on the old Pete. I tell you what, ironing out this old work horse has been a challenge. Hood and doors are ready for paint. cab has been worked on, and on, and on, and, oh you get the picture....should be in primer by Tuesday. Fenders are all done.... Rear bumper and all the frame covers were getting cleared when I left. Pics tomorrow, I hope. All that leaves for the yellow are a few brackets and hucks. I LOVE huck rivets !!!
  3. I want one of those tandem trailers. My father in law drives a 2014 Kenworth T800 with that box and trailer. I have the T800 conversion and the T600 kit, as well as the drive axle, and the main box. Now all i need is the trailer.....and the cummins.
  4. The Monocote is not very expensive. You cut it to size, press it down on the sub-structure, and then lightly hit it with the heat. Shrinks, and tightens up real sweet..
  5. I am glad that I can contribute. I sure have received a LOT from this place.
  6. Just look in Tower Hobbies RC plane section, and I am sure that youtube has plenty of how to's. lol
  7. I just have to say, some weekend warrior has deep pockets for that setup. I second the "Totally Awesome" !!
  8. Beautiful rendition of a classic kit !!
  9. That is just WOW !! Have you ever tried Monocote ? Its the RC airplane fuselage covering. Comes in lots of different colors and shrinks tight with heat.
  10. It all looks great to me. I wish I had room for a car dio, let alone one for trucks. lol
  11. Truly a piece of art !
  12. I have one of these trailers now as well, and was wondering where they were used and what pulled them. Thanks for this thread !! Very informative, which is what I have found to be true across the board in the Truck Forum.
  13. Since the Bison is my first complete build for a big rig, I cannot say what part I dislike the most. lol The goal with it is to finish it and THEN figure out what part I did not like.
  14. Thanks Terry !! JT, they could be wrong, but if they are its 'cause I followed the directions.
  15. Nice touch with the Corvette taillight panel
  16. Andy, there should be plenty left over after I am dead and gone. I call it a life insurance policy for my wife.
  17. Thanks for the input. i will let her float. lol As far as the fuel tanks go. I plead the fifth.....because i followed the instructions.
  18. I am working on the chassis and pondering something. (must be the fumes) So when you guys glue down your fifth wheel, do you actually glue it down solid when you want to put a trailer on it, or do you let it float so you can display it with or without a trailer? You guys might want to sit down somewhere with plenty of reading material while you contemplate the depth of it. Oh, and here is the finished chassis.
  19. JT, its all stacked in my boys room....since they are out of town for the moment.
  20. All I can say is WOW !!! BUT.....I noticed in the opening pictures, that your floor jack looks a little light duty. You might want to upgrade before you blow its seal.
  21. Just so you know I have been doing what I have said, here is a pic of the dining room table. I can start building right after dinner.
  22. Thanks Mark. I thought the cab went to the Junkyard Dog because it has dents in it like the hood does.
  23. Ok guys, after going through that huge big rig score, It really got me going. I have not touched a model in about a year, but I ordered some new glue, and will have the table cleaned off and set up by the end of the weekend.
