Just look in Tower Hobbies RC plane section, and I am sure that youtube has plenty of how to's. lol -

That is just WOW !! Have you ever tried Monocote ? Its the RC airplane fuselage covering. Comes in lots of different colors and shrinks tight with heat. -
It all looks great to me. I wish I had room for a car dio, let alone one for trucks. lol

Truly a piece of art !

What should be pulling this trailer?
Sam I Am replied to Petetrucker07's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have one of these trailers now as well, and was wondering where they were used and what pulled them. Thanks for this thread !! Very informative, which is what I have found to be true across the board in the Truck Forum. -
rig building, what's the worst part for you?
Sam I Am replied to tbill's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Since the Bison is my first complete build for a big rig, I cannot say what part I dislike the most. lol The goal with it is to finish it and THEN figure out what part I did not like. -
Thanks Terry !! JT, they could be wrong, but if they are its 'cause I followed the directions.

Andy, there should be plenty left over after I am dead and gone. I call it a life insurance policy for my wife.

Thanks for the input. i will let her float. lol As far as the fuel tanks go. I plead the fifth.....because i followed the instructions.
-
I am working on the chassis and pondering something. (must be the fumes) So when you guys glue down your fifth wheel, do you actually glue it down solid when you want to put a trailer on it, or do you let it float so you can display it with or without a trailer? You guys might want to sit down somewhere with plenty of reading material while you contemplate the depth of it. Oh, and here is the finished chassis.

JT, its all stacked in my boys room....since they are out of town for the moment.

Mack R 700 1971 with trailer train bi
Sam I Am replied to mackd's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
All I can say is WOW !!! BUT.....I noticed in the opening pictures, that your floor jack looks a little light duty. You might want to upgrade before you blow its seal. -
Just so you know I have been doing what I have said, here is a pic of the dining room table. I can start building right after dinner.
-
Thanks Mark. I thought the cab went to the Junkyard Dog because it has dents in it like the hood does.
-
Ok guys, after going through that huge big rig score, It really got me going. I have not touched a model in about a year, but I ordered some new glue, and will have the table cleaned off and set up by the end of the weekend.

AMT White Road Boss

That took a lot of patience to lay those stripes out, but well worth the effort. They flow seamlessly from hood to cab. -

Terry, I think you must suffer from a touch of OCD. lol Awesome attention to detail !! -

Looking good Chuck ! -
Ok, last of the pics. The trailers. Looks like there is enough to build three tankers. A couple Reefer trailers ...and plenty of parts for dry goods, and doubles. Along with a couple low boys, flat bed, and Cattle Pods !! I noticed somebody got creative with a cattle pod trailer and built on that would go on what looks like Louisville ford, and a pickup. So thanks for following along as I dug through this HUGE score !! I appreciate all the help in identifying things and will now figure out what I want to keep and what will move on.

The rest are just crazy. I dont know whats worse, opening a box and finding that it matches, or finding that it doesnt, or finding parts with no instructions, or instructions that do not match whats in the box. This Mack came with extras While this one might not all be there... ...and this one has the chassis in one box while the rest is in another. The rest are a craq shoot....lol ....oh, and I find mixer parts spread out in over four boxes.

Lusk, WY lol Ok, I finally made it through the last of the truck boxes. Even with all the time I have spent going through things, its still only superficial. A Volvo and MB, partial builts with no paint and what looks like all the parts. Two Aeromax, one old build falling apart and one barely started. The Fords are both complete with the C600 having at least a spare cab. lol The BJ and the Bear kit is a falling apart built up. But appears to be all there. The Movin On kits are in real nice shape, one looks complete and unbuilt, the other looks like its missing a few.
