  1. I'll find out when I get the 69 Nova kit. I found one and it shipped out today.
  2. I apologize to the mods for starting the thread in the wrong spot, but the next time you move one, it sure would be nice to give the guy a heads up. It took me awhile to find it. I see that the 69 Chassis is the correct wheel base. I wonder if I could graft the front clip of the 76 Chassis onto it, then the suspension would be correct. Looks like its going to take a couple kits to get it right. lol Plowboy, thanks for the visual.
  3. It will work for my needs, you wont see the top of the tranny once its finished, and the model will be wired down to the display case so it cant slide around.
  4. You, my friend, have a pm. Oh, and I started a needed thread for a kit as well.
  5. Thanks everyone. Now to go shopping for a 69 Nova kit. .....and dig through the stash for an automatic.
  6. I do not have one to check. I have checked the Revell 69 Camaro and its a tad short on wheelbase and comes with a four speed. If somebody has a 69 Nova and a 69 Camaro and can compare the two, it would be appreciated.
  7. I am in the process of replicating a 1:1 '75 Nova. The AMT kit leaves a lot to be desired. I looked through my stash for a donor kit that would give me the engine/tranny combo I needed and a better chassis, but cannot seem to come up with anything. I need a basic small block chev with automatic and better chassis detail in 1/25. Any ideas? TIA
  8. Had another one of these come through the shop in silver. Beautiful truck ! So i started collecting parts again. i now have the 378 kit, the livestock trailer, and the wheels. i still am sorting out my order with eric. What I am having trouble locating is a cat engine. I think somebody makes one and calls it "the big yellow engine" but i dont remember where I saw it. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. Great trade with Toylvr !!

  11. Common, I sold a couple on ebay a few months ago in the $10-$15 range
  12. Been there, done that, after four years still cant find it...
  13. Some awesome gassers in this thread. Hope I can get back on mine soon and join in the fun.
  14. Love the HO stuf. I still have all my cars and track. The boys and I have not brought it out since we moved, but it was raced regularly up until 3 years ago.
  15. ,then break open the next kit and start gluing it up while your waiting for glue to dry on the first. Remember, benches are like shops. Its never big enough.
  16. Nice work area Juan....just a little too clean. lol
  17. Nice work !! Love the big rigs. Great to find a somewhat local builder also. I'm up in Lusk and do get to Scotts Bluff for shopping from time to time. Sam
  18. The trouble with ANY size shop. lol
  19. YOU GO GIRL !!!
  20. I always go to ebay first when looking for a kit or aftermarket piece. Have always loved my results as a buyer. I just sold about 300 kits from Nov-Feb, and had 100% positive feedback. I've bee on since 2000 and have about 1300 transactions with 100% positive. i have a guy in Germany bought about 25 kits in all and he says I'm his #1 seller. It was just a fluke that I had all these kits from a huge lot I bought off craigslist. There were a couple who were nit picking, but thats to be expected. Oh, and I have had more than one seller tell me they got my payment notification before ebay notified them their item sold. lol
  21. Jonathan, I guarantee that you wont build it as quick as you do all your stuff. lol I had one back in the late 80's but never built it. Shortly after getting married in the early 90's my wife wanted to build a kit, so i told her to take her pick of my stash. She pulled out the Enthusiast kit, and I told her what it was all about. She did it. and did an AWESOME job with it. Is it perfect? nope, but what an awesome job with an awesome kit. Watching Geofff build his, I went and bought a few more. Now I get my chance. Yes, I think they are the most detailed kits built, and their parts count are unrivaled.
  22. Looking sharp !! That interior will really 'pop' with the second color.
  23. All of us do. My wife has not had the time in the last few years, but she enjoys it. the three boys all build. They enjoy it as well.
