  1. No rush... Just curious as to what's in the kit ?
  2. I've got that kit & mine definitely has the 500 grille. Also have the MPC version & it has it too ?
  3. Brought up the same question over in the "new kits/reviews " section, in the RC2 General Lee snap-kit thread.... Yes it'd be easier for Revell to re-tool the Daytona body to make a 70 charger... So I don't see why they haven't already... But... We are talking about Revell... Who took close to 5yrs to re-do ( 3rd attempt ) the 70 Cuda, not Aoshima or Fujimi... Oh & I'd buy a tonne of the 70 Chargers if anyone decided to actually kit it up ??
  4. Tell me something... How many of you here would've bought a full detail ( similar to Revell's '68/'69 ) 1970 Charger had RC2 kitted THIS instead of this useless snap GL kit? & how many would you have bought, just 1, 2? 5? 10? If your answer is YES ( to purchasing a full detail '70 Charger ) then RC2 has failed with this kit, not only with just WHO actually supports this hobby, but who THEIR real target audience SHOULD be.
  5. If it's not too much trouble, would you mind doing a review/pics, of the Fujimi Transporter? I'm very interested in getting 1 or 2 & would love to know if it's worth it? Cheers Cliff
  6. No probs dude ??
  7. First off.... Welcome! ? If it's diecast/metal... It goes in the diecast section, no matter the size/scale. ? It's not exclusive to 1:18s... It's probably just that they're more common, rather than other scales ?? No, you don't have to do WIP ( workbench ) threads if you don't want to. It's totally up to you ? As is starting another thread in the Under Glass section. You don't have to if you don't want to. No rules there ?? As for Drag racers... If there's a section dedicated for them... That's usually where you post them, WIPS & Completed ?? Cheers Cliff
  8. Too bad it's not a Mopar... Mark & the guys over at Graveyard Cars could fix it ??
  9. I'd love either one but if I was a betting man I'd throw a lazy $tenner on the Hurucan being Aoshima's next Supercar ? I think they've built up a very good/strong relationship with Lamborghini & I think Lamborghini is very happy with Aoshima's commitment to their cars ??
  10. I've built this kit as well as the Spyder version. If you've glued that rear fascia to the body already you're going to have major problems getting the chassis underneath it, without snapping it ( rear fascia ) off.
  11. They do. It just depends on the demand? I have noticed Tamiya has re-released a lot of their old kits.
  12. Different horses for different courses.... What you want kitted doesn't necessarily mean anyone else does... ?
  13. No, from what I've read/heard, it won't be a small/hatch type car, it'll be a medium to large/sports car type.
  14. The "new" Barracuda won't be based on the Challenger platform. It will be replacing the Challenger ( supposedly ? ) & will be built on a World platform, so Fiat can use it on other brands it owns, Specifically Alfa ?
  15. I say well done! ?? for a 1st up effort! ? It's not unheard of for someone's first model to be quite good, especially if they're older & have a background in the automotive industry. It's does happen ?? Glad you're hooked & welcome! Looking forward to more builds from you champ ?? Cheers Cliff
  16. Cudos to you Brandon, for doing this for your grandad ?
  17. I love Mopars & while I agree with most people, that a Charger should ONLY have 2 doors, this hybrid is ok, not great, but ok. It would need to shed some of it's bulk, be more aero-dynamically friendly & those old '68 tail lights, ( as much as I love them on a real '68 ) would have to go & something more modern, like on the latest Challenger, would have to be in it's place. It is a good effort though ?
  18. Looks cool for a 20hr investment ?? Not 1 of my ( personal ) favourite Lamborghinis. What did you learn, that Fujimi & Aoshima make waaaay better Lambo' kits? ? Lol Cheers Cliff
  19. It's no secret I'm a huge Mopar fan ? & I could go either way, stock or Pro-Tourer ? Here's some inspiration for ya... & this is a mate of mine, Cesar Bossolani's 68 WIP... The Phat Daddies are ok... But would look better with better quality tyres ( slightly higher profile ?) Cheers Cliff
  20. I'm with you Harry. It's getting quite boring. As an administrator you could & should delete or at least lock threads like this, at least for a 3mnth period. It's all a bit old & time for other topics that don't involve " what do you want to see ( kitted ) next... Wish lists etc etc "...
