  1. Excellent flatbed - makes a good-looking couple with the 352 up front.
  2. Very nice plain-jane fleet truck!
  3. A really beatiful model - looks like from a ATHS truck show/meeting.
  4. Awsome couple, Brian - the longsleeper 352 looks just excellent! The poor neglected dumper is the ideal object for towing here. Very nice!
  5. Dave, I found a small video clip from a 1969 Italian movie featuring the Alfa 33 stradale (prototipo!) - beautiful sight and incredible sound !
  6. Another winner from your bench, Rich - I always liked the Martini livery. Many, many details here to watch.
  7. Very well done Gerald, I intend to do something similar with a Tamiya 1/24 Ferrari 275 P 2 slot body using a 250 LM for poarts.
  8. Must have been in 1969 (in Nov. 1968 we moved from a village in the Tyrolean Alps to a small town south of Vienna, which had two toy/hobby shops!) - my new schoolmates brought me to styrene models, mainly Airfix plastic bag kits: 1/72 WW2 planes, sailing ships and 1/32 car kits which I can remember some - glued together with tube glue, partially painted with Humbrol enamels, and bought another one when pocket money allowed it (NO stash back then!). I found some pics on the internet: This is where it started....
  9. Mine too - it was my first resin kit I ever built (more than 30 years ago as a commission for a modeling shop in Vienna) - now I have one for myself !
  10. Not today, but last week: 1969 Ferrari 312 P Spyder from Dragon Model and Pattern (= Paul Fisher):
  11. Small Update: Now with paint from the can : rim silver (car laquer) and Tamiya rubber black for the tires (compared with the Gunze TCR 1000 wheel): A mock-up with a Hachette Die-cast Fiat 850 Coupé:
  12. Jason / Jack modelling makes 5-spoke wheels for 365 GTB Daytona stock and racing versions: stock: https://www.ebay.com/itm/186190606331?itmmeta=01JWZZH1HNWHD0TMCYQE76V6F0&hash=item2b59d32ffb:g:GZIAAOSwz2Nlalkb racing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/186190604641?itmmeta=01JWZZH1HNKF4AM9935BCZK8W2&hash=item2b59d32961:g:bikAAOSwF8Flaliw
  13. How could I have missed this? A typical Eastern truck from a long gone era - exceptional !
  14. Excellent work, Matt - I neither have the patience nor the ability for making wire wheels like you do here - brings the whole kit to a new level!
  15. Outstanding model, Ismael ! You really did this vintage racer justice in every detail.
  16. Excellent execution and a very nice tribute to your father, Jeff !
  17. Once again you created a marvellous model of a legendary racecar, Dave ! Thanks for showing us all these gems !
  18. Donald, this is an outstanding build - period-correct colors, excellent overall execution (not to mention the lighting!)
  19. Excellent truck - this one could easily be mistaken for the real thing !
  20. He almost always posted ultraclean cars with high-gloss finishes in the Model cars/Under glass section. His last visit to the forum was on December 7, 2024.
  21. Wow, Rich - excellent model with so many additional pthotoetch detail parts ! This was the ultimate Group B car - Lancia took it to the extreme with 4WD, supercharger AND turbocharger.
  22. Chris, these wheels are not sized specifically - you may order them with the dimensions that suit your needs: you must determine the diameter of the wheels, the width and the offset (if you want to have wider, deep-dish rear wheels). Jason will print them exactly to your wishes. By the way, you are right concerning the Gunze Abarth 1000 TCR: I have only one of these (paid too much for it, and was very disappointed when I got it finally: seats and steering wheel bone stock, no roll cage, front fender flares wrong, wheels toylike)
