  1. Nice job on all three. The Nova looks like the ones you saw on the streets 25- 30 years ago .
  2. My condolences, Bill. Yes, it is hard to lose a family member (which is what pets are).
  3. Nice job. That's your first one? Killer.
  4. Hope things are going OK, Bill. I need to see how this story ends
  5. He's pretty much nailed it here, Grasor. I use rattle cans (mostly Dupli- Color) on all my models. If you go that route, always use an automotive grade primer so you don't craze the plastic. For body work, use a two- part auto body filler such as Bondo. For more info, Bill "Mr. Obsessive" Geary has a great tutorial ongoing in the "On the workbench" section of the forum, where he's building a '49 Mercury and showing how to do things step by step. Even I've learned new stuff from it. Good luck and welcome to the loony bin.

    66 Mercury

Gorgeous job on your Merc .
  7. Nice collection there, Rob. I especially like the '60 Merc and the '64 Ford .
  8. Al Keeholic Luke Warm Lee Veetra
  9. My goals are as follows: Finish the Predictor Finish my '64 Marauder Finish two F-150's Finish my '89 Mustang Maybe, just maybe, finish my '59 Imperial (languishing since '07) Finish my Secret Project
  10. Maybe the guy graduated from the University of Phonix .
  11. Nice little Plymouth. They look so sweet without the confused factory side trim.
  12. Nice group of Ponchos. I like the '62- it looks like something you wouldn't want to mess with at the stoplight.
  13. Q. What's the difference between an Escalade and a golf ball? A. Tiger Woods can drive a golf ball 400 yards.
  14. I remember the AMT '49 Mercury, the Monogram 1/8 scale Corvette, AMT '68 Galaxie, AMT '69 Thunderbird and an MPC '73 Pinto. In '02 I got the '58 Edsel, which is one of the favorites in my collection. I should probably post some pics of it.
  15. 'Stash' by Phish. A finely crafted piece with some great (as usual) guitar by Trey Anastasio.
  16. So Mr. Rogers wasn't a sniper in the Salvation Army? . Good to see ya back, Kevin.
  17. Glad you're doing alright, Clay. Hopefully you can get back stateside soon and get to building again.

    55 Desoto

Wow- how'd I miss this?? Great conversion work. In metal, no less.
  19. Nice collection- I really like the Jag sedan. My class of 2009 has been held back a year 'cause they're all dummies . Well, except for the '66 Wildcat rebuild.
  20. Really nice job there, Charles.

Great work, Terry. Your weathering never ceases to amaze me . I really like the Civil Defense wagon ("now kids, if there's an atomic blast, hide under your desks....").
  22. Now that looks like the farm trucks I used to see around the Thumb when I was a kid. They were farm implements, and were treated as such. Great work.
  23. Or replicate the high- performance model that got Al Gore's kid arrested a few years ago .
  24. I just finished reading Thomas Bonsall's book "Disaster In Dearborn" and the standard engine in the base Edsels (Ranger and Pacer) was an FE that was 361 cubes, as opposed to the 360 I mentioned earlier. Also, the smallest effie was the 332, not 331. Hope this clears things up.
