  1. That is different. An International, 'eh. Maybe you could pass it off as a farm vehicle.
  2. This is really looking good, Jairus. Can't wait to see it finished. Good call on the Edsel as a donor (lotsa detail parts, no).
  3. Here's a few of mine (funny, they're all blue..). AMT '67 Comet Monogram '71 Satellite Lindberg '67 Olds 442
  4. Holy cow. I just spent the last two minutes trying to pick my jaw up from the floor. Absolutely in&^#$@*&credible.
  5. Cool truck. Now it won't take as long to get to the co- op or the Grange Hall .
  6. Nice job on your E-body Mopar. I always thought they were one of the best looking of the pony cars (I still feel the first- gen Javelin tops them all).
  7. Wow. A great marriage of old and new and you pulled it off beautifully.
  8. That's 80' longer than a dragstrip. BTW, Gregg, you didn't see the Balloon Boy anywhere up there, did you?
  9. This really looks good, Juergen . The interior is drop- dead awesome. With the bat on the rear shelf, it looks like you're ready to cruise around Flint .
  10. I do that a couple times a year to my workbench, then spend the next few days trying to figure out where the heck I put everything .
  11. Thanks, although I've been influenced more by bands like Procol, Gov't Mule and Phish (Warren Haynes and Trey Anastasio have been my newer favorite guitarists for the last couple years). A friend of mine gave me a set of woodworking riffler files over the weekend, and today I got aggressive and started shaping the incuts on the bodysides. The files work very well- if I can have a day or two to really get at it, I might be giving it its first coats of primer soon.
  12. Ramblers rock. Especially the late 50's and early sixties Cross Country wagons. Good save.
  13. If I didn't love this hobby, I'd be a real masochist to be going at it for the last 20+ years .Along with my music, my dog and a few good friends I'm able to enjoy my life, but I always fall back on model cars because for me it's a great outlet for a. my creativity and b. my love of things automotive. I don't have the money or space that Jay Leno has (dagnabbit), but I can build an interesting collection and not have to worry about plates and insurance for all of them . Besides, I like to feel I've made a few friends and increased my skills by looking at how everyone here comes up with different solutions for their end goals.
  14. Too bad we didn't have buses like that when I was a kid- I might have actually enjoyed going to school . Love it.
  15. Beautiful Chevies. Like Zukiholic said- those came out that long ago? We're gettin' old....
  16. Great work. I never liked seeing those Caprices in Michigan State Police livery in my mirror when I drove a taxi- especially deadheading from Detroit Metro back to Flint at not- so- legal speeds.
  17. Yessirree Bob. That is one cool Willys Americar (old Joeseph Frazer would be proud).

    MPC '67 GTO

Great job on an old kit. The paint is great, and you've really nailed the look of a late sixties street fighter.
  19. Great job on a legendary car by a legendary artist. The Revellogram '58 Thunderbird reissue from '03 restored the bubble top and custom pieces back to the kit. I'm not sure if it replicated any specific custom, but it does have the bubble roof.
  20. A realy slick, intelligent design. The Atlantic lends itself well to a pickup (now why didn't I think of that?). Excellent finish and execution.
  21. Thanks, Harry. I just tok the thumbnail from my Flickr site (bubbahitler), which I have up for my digital class.
  22. BTW, that's me fronting my 'band', Bipolar Bear. Like Robert Fripp with King Crimson, Bipolar Bear is me and whoever hops up on stage with me on open mic nights at the local bar.
  23. Nice job, Chuck. I won't flip you off in traffic, but the cops might tase you, bro.

    68 Firebird

Great job, especially on the engine and interior (love the shift pattern on the knob), and a brown car is always good for an extra 10- 15 mph on the Interstate before the cops notice you.

    poor thing

That is one kick @## job of weathering. It looks like it spent it's entire life in Flint.
