  1. That's funny, but I like the Veyron better as a boat .
  2. Now its starting to look menacing . Imagine zipping along the freeway in your '62 GT Hawk at 100 or so and seeing this thing suddenly looming in your mirror...
  3. Reminds me of the old Group B rally cars.
  4. Here's mine- a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix.
  5. Talk about putting lipstick on a pig ...I never cared for the New Beetle (or any other J. Mays monstrosity), but this does look appropriate.
  6. Good thing she didn't put you to work as the courtroom sketch artist...it woulda been tiring to draw stick figures all day .
  7. You mean no more whining, stupidity (wait, that's me ), cussing or vitriol? Cool.
  8. I got out and put about 40 miles on it Monday running errands, and even though its shod with Eagles, its a very good snow car. But yeah, I can't wait 'til the weather breaks and go for a nice long drive. All I need is a CD/MP3 player and it'll be perfect.
  9. I knew a guy that was so dumb he thought a drag race was a 5k run in spike heels. However, he did show up with his pink slip... .
  10. As promised, here's some pics...
  11. Wow. I've always like the '61 88's and you've done yours justice. Absolutely gawjuss .
  12. Looking good for a first effort. I really like the paint scheme .
  13. Well, I finally got a car Saturday. Its a '96 Grand Prix SE, Arrest-me-red with charcoal interior. I paid $2,000 for it, and its in really really great shape. In about half an hour, I'll walk the three blocks to the Secretary of State's office and get 'er licensed. The thing's been sitting in my driveway 'cause I don't feel like getting the thing impounded for being an unlicensed car on nthe road. I'll have some pics up tomorrow
  14. Really nice job, Chuck. One caveat, though- the chrome fender molding doesn't bisect the turn signal. Other than that, another great one from your bench .
  15. Very nice job, Chuck. . This thing looks like its ready to take on all comers on Woodward, between 12 and 13 Mile.
  16. Nice, Bruce. Keep us posted...
  17. Man, talk about turning a sow's ear into a silk purse. Absolutely killer job. .
  18. Really nice Thunderbird you got there. I have a real soft spot for the '83- '88 T- Birds. I like the color and great execution. .
  19. Thanks, Harry. As for the five bucks, well, when I get my bailout money for Palmerica LLC, you'll be the first creditor I pay off .
  20. Like the new format, with one caveat. I wanted to update my sig by deleting the Rat quote, so when I did and submitted the changes, I'm getting an error message telling me my sig is too long. What gives?
  21. To quote Hank Hill:,"That boy ain't right." Nice little vehicle you got there, Chuck.
  22. Sweet job on the weathering . Sitting on the ground without the wheels really makes it look like a forlorn relic behind some farmer's barn. Great ambiance. Can't wait to see it finished.
  23. This should be interesting, to say the least. After the pig roast, when everybody has contracted food poisoning, you can hire yourself out to big companies to destroy their paperwork on site . 'Course, you'll need a big engine to stay one step ahead of the law and the health Nazis.
  24. Great job, Jody. Happy Festivus .
