Nice save on the wheels/tires, they look great.

They are called fender spats it was a FIA rules at the time. Because the FIA rules required the wheels and tires to lie within the bodywork (seen from above), large curved aluminum spats were riveted into place behind the front fender openings. https://www.shelbyamericancollection.org/cobras-coupes/1963-cobra-lemans-csx2137

I prefer the look of the car without the vent windows, fortunately I was able to find photos of the car competing without them.

Nice looking project. Hasegawa did offer a street version of the kit, I would assume that's why the stock parts are included. Italeri also offers a nice kit of the street version.

The kit provides side window frames but they are very fragile witness the broken one. I made my own.

Thanks. Overall I think the craftsman that created the body did a really good job despite the asymmetry. Its not a kit I would recommend to someone as their first resin kit however.
