Fabricated inner fender panels, front half of the chassis is fitting nicely.

I have over 400 cars - crazy I know! Been collecting for over 30 years. I've started down sizing my collection so others can enjoy them. Here is most of my AFX F1/Indy cars. I also have several Tyco and Tomy F1/Indy cars. No surprise AFX are my favorites.

The P4 is one sexy race car - nice work Tim.

Good stuff Rob! Auto World is issuing some very nice cars. I've resisted buying any of them as my collection is already pretty big. I've been working to down size it.

I'm more of a collector. I don't have a track or club near me that I know of to race. One my favorite Tyco Pro drag racers.

Got to track down more parts but my intention is to tube the back half. The 1:1 rear suspension is very challenging, might have to fudge that a bit.

I've got no suggestions but interested in what others might offer. How about some pictures of what you got?

Decided I should start a new thread for this project my Porsche 356 thread was getting unwieldy.

Borrowed the front suspension from one of my 356 builds to do a mockup. Might be a little high in the front but not by much. The cars had significant tire clearance back in the day.

I've modified a 356 chassis to fit the RS60 body. It's not accurate to the 1:1 which was built on a tube chassis. Not sure how far this one will go, I don't have the suspension or engine to complete this chassis.

After a few days in the pond and some vigorous scrubbing I've got another Porsche project to work with.

I have a mint kit in the original box (photos form the internet). I was very reluctant to cut into it in an attempt to build a static model, now I don't have to.

Recently picked up a Revel RS60 glue bomb. The Revell is a very nice 1/24 scale slot car body kit. The builder fabricated a crude chassis.

Got the primer coat more or less worked on the Abarth.

Just my opinion but most people don't look past the paint finish when they evaluate a build. Got to be super shinny to get their attention unfortunately. Great build in my opinion.
