  1. To me, even with the low turn out there was great quality there!! Figured I'd show everyone else the interior/chassis updates. INTERIOR UPDATE: Red!!!
  2. Thanks Kerry! Seeing your builds in person today was a real inspiration! Was great to meet you as well!
  3. Well that is good reason then....congratulations grandpa!
  4. Very cool Rods Ray!!
  5. Looks great Bobby!! Loved the extra bubble in the back to "keep the harpies at bay."
  6. You should call it the "Mutation"
  7. Looks cool without the dumb mirror window thing Jeff! Would also look great as a convertible.....especially with the wheels you went with. Kind of Lotus Elan-ish.
  8. Nice Ray! Great choice on the in-liner! Love the old school cool this has!
  9. If yours had the 997tt motor.....I think it would be a dead heat.
  10. Thanks Dirk! Really love what you have going with your Ghia build. I'm definitely following!!
  11. Just stumbled upon this AMAZING piece of art! LOVE it!
  12. Good to know, Thanks Nick. Are you coming to this on Saturday?
  13. WOW! This is really a detailed kit! The brake assemblies look real. Are you going to build it like the Type R? Just a guess.
  14. Thanks Kerry. Should be much farther along by Saturday.
  15. Thanks Ray Thank you Ira, LOVED what you did with the USA1 build!
  16. Yes, you too Kerry. Hope to see some more great builds there!
  17. Marcos, just like everyone else said, This is just beautiful! I am currently working on the RS custom version of this......it was nice to see a beautiful stock version.
  18. UPDATE: Cut the driver's side of the dash out and sectioned in the ZR1 dash cluster. This was a major PITA to get the angle right on. Now just have to fill with putty and do the "matching" of both pieces. The passenger side will have the original "handle" in it for HOLD ON times. Which will also continue the natural curvature of the dash from one side to the other (Looks strange without it, I know.) I will be installing the 2010 Z06 steering wheel. Oh yeah, I also have to remove the EXTRA set of pedals from the original floorpan! On the front end, I was able to complete the driver's side grille piece to match the center.....now for the Passenger side.
  19. Thank you Roy! Had to do it.....the kit's wheels/tires/brakes were way too small. Thanks Jim!
  20. Thank you Steve.
  21. WOW! Great job on the scratchbuilt pieces. I remember this kit being an absolute pain to put together! Your build is wonderful considering what you were up against!
  22. WOW! That clear is shiny! Just a perfect mirror finish. Love this build Mark!
  23. I had a good time reading your build story. It is super cool that your wife is helping you with this....(keeper!) Keep going it is looking great!!
