That is too bad he dropped out. Glue on windows is not that bad....simply wetsand the window out with 600 grit, 800, and then 1500 grit and then polish it out again with Meguiars PlastX. Takes a little time but will come out clear again guaranteed. Just did a window that was covered with glue along the edges and it turned out great.

Looks like a red white and blue American flag on the spare tire well. Car looks good, nice detail on the interior.....white is difficult to work with.

Jeremy your work amazes me! I just gotta watch this. Always wanted the kit car when I was a kid.......finally got it and in typical dumb young kid fashion I destroyed it with glue, paint, etc.

I actually had the opportunity to meet Hank. He was showing a funny car (1/16) that he did the "swirladelic" paint job on at my local hobby store. Talked with him for a while about how he did it as well as other tips and tricks. He was a wealth of knowledge to me.

Thanks guys, I looked close up at my reference pictures of the above car, it is indeed a wrap. I am doing this paint job as a "think out of the box" thing. I figured why not do something that will drag people over to the model on the display shelf and surprise them rather than say "That's nice blue paint on that Lambo." Some would say I am a little crazy though to do this to a $120+ model! All I know is that it is going to take quite a bit of clear to cover it.

Sounds like the same thing that happened to me with my Protar F40. Gary, how do you like the resin wheels you picked up? Was thinking about them for the F40 in the future.....the kit wheels are just meh OK.

02-03 Vert. Maybe 05-06 for the right car. 85-6's are HARD to find
