  1. This is just absolutely incredible!! The close up shots of this....the detail is better than some of the largest model companies. You are a true artist my friend! The vision, the execution, attention to detail.....top notch 100%

Nice clean build. Great looking rally car!
  3. Beautiful job under the hood Mitchell. Looks like a full engine to me. Also, looks like a lot of time was spent on the interior. Very nice attention to detail.
  4. Very cool execution so far! I would drop in a Porsche flat six UP FRONT and make the back a pickup bed. Would look cool IMHO. A Lotus-camino.......yeah that's the ticket.
  5. WOW! What an absolutely beautiful display piece. Top notch build Henry! Just awesome.
  6. Thank you Henry. I really enjoyed the pictures of your Lola. May have to add it to my collection now.
  7. Looks nice to me! Cant wait to build my 1/16 Fujimi 959!
  8. Thank you Larry. Forgot to add that the "mud" look was done with Polly scale weathering kit. Used the what else? Mud
  9. Thanks Mike!
  10. Built this for a fellow employee a couple of weeks ago. He runs demo derby on a team and I offered to build him a car. Was a very fun build. Had a good time making it look "old" and rusted out.
  11. Some more pics of engine bay... Working on the interior right now, so more pics soon. Thanks
  12. Started this one while the forum was down. Been sitting in the stash for about 10 years...... The color will be a Pearlescent medium blue with the silver wheels and a cream color interior. It is an Enthusiast series so NOT curbside. Doors open, headlights open, steering works etc.
  13. Thank you Jeremy, I will hopefully have some new pics soon. I have been trying to fit this build in with my hectic work schedule. A little update: -The intake manifold was cut apart completely to install the intake runners and the holes at each runner that were not present in the kit engine. ( Currently sanding and filling and sanding and...) -Added the surface detail to the valve covers (including the cam timing sensors), transmission, and engine block -Enlarged and detailed the intercoolers as well as added PE screen to the tops -Built both headers out of solder and currently working on scratch turbos. -FINALLY got the wheels to take paint (third time is a charm...kept cracking and crazing.) Pics will happen when the sun is out. Thanks for following.
  14. Love it Seth! Just a beautiful showpiece.
  15. What is your secret Fred? I'm a little older than you and would love to have one gt500 (let alone two.)
  16. Looking good so far John. I remember what a pain it was to achieve Jetstream blue when I built my version of this kit.
  17. Oh my gosh Fred! Now you are gonna have to sell me that Mach 1. Gotta make room ya know. Seriously though, I wish I could order mine. Years away from that I'm afraid.
  18. You should be happy with this Tomo, it is an incredible build! Just beautiful. Put this level of craftsmanship into your 1:1 Golf, models are great practice for 1:1 builds.
  19. That would be cool. I have a 1/16 Fujimi 288 GTO that is in the "on deck" position that I picked up a few years back for a decent price completely sealed. Thanks, been working on the exhaust headers (solder) and thanks to you Cameron, the intercoolers are almost done. Had to do a little filling like you said.
  20. It would be SO refreshing to build a large Tamiya kit but the price tag ($300-$400) is usually what scares me away from their larger ones. I know that they are nowhere near the price of Pocher Rivarossi F40 kits but hard to justify that kind of coin for a display piece. (at least at this time.)
  21. This is nothing short of amazing! It looks as if it was molded this way and built from a box. Love the color and overall presentation! Just a beautiful build sir.
  22. Man Arnold! That is looking just awesome. My decals were not behaving well on the rear quarters in front of the rear wheels and on the roof near the rain gutter channel. Yours look great!! Tomo, that Skyline is looking amazing as well! Great job guys!
