  1. Nice skills, that is wild. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Very nice. I like the black valve covers.
  3. Sweet ride. That color works.
  4. That's it. I think everyone who's seen it will forever think of Eddie when they hear that song. I know I do. How about this century.
  5. Correct, Ray was an added clue and this movie was made about the same time as Fast Times. And a hint to the Caddy-the song Roxanne.
  6. That's it Scott. Back to the 80s. Another Caddy and from a much lesser known teen flick
  7. Correct Sean, How about 2 pics from the same movie. I liked both pictures.
  8. should be an easy one And a hint to the caddy with the dead Christmas tree. This was the fate of the Ferrari in same movie.
  9. That's it. Sadly this was Doris Days last film. How about one from the 80s.
  10. Another picture from another angle and a title hint- Think Chinese food.
  11. Correct == two dollars
  12. I hate the parasites that prey on the naive. Well done. This pleases me today.
  13. This might be easy if you've seen the movie. I like this car though. And this one.
  14. In replying to another post I was reminded of this story and thought would share and hopefully here other story's. They don't need to be model related like mine but this could be interesting. So a few months ago I responded to a craigslist ad for built models. The ad said 30 built models for $45. Yes I called, yes I went over, and yes I paid him full asking price. They were typical 30yr old models, dirty, parts loose and or missing. One though was a 1/8 32 Ford, unpainted with loose parts, but was obviously missing a running board. Still nice. Now the karma. I responded to a part wanted on this forum the next day. I sent the part the day after asking for no reimbursement but just a pay it forward type thing. The next day the man from Craigslist posted a message on Craigslist saying he found the running board, box, instructions, unused parts, and trees. It felt like good karma when it it was happening. Anyone else have a good story to share?
  15. 1988 is my guess to and a with a quick google search, this was the best turd I saw. F For what is, looks acceptable.
  16. Ditto, not many gassers I like but that is cool.
  17. That's a nice looking exterior facade.Well done and it will be a nice backdrop for pictures.
  18. Wow, these are all so cool. I would love to have them in styrene, but it must more expensive than metal. But seriously they sound pretty reasonable for what they are and it's nice they are available. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Totally missed the point er sharp edge. These are fine examples of sexy curves that may have an edge but fits the overall design. They don't have the spear-lightning bolt look of that front end that doesn't seem to go with the rest of the car which looks fine. This is obviously just my opinion of this car.
  20. That whole front end doesn't work for me. Personally, I think it is very tough to make a good looking car with sharp edges and points. The rest looks nice though.
  21. Sad, but we can turn on the stereo to sound like a V-8. I hope we aren't at the end of the new muscle car revolution. I would hate to see the junk of the 70's per govt regs come back. Does that have a Hemi?
  22. From my first generation of building I have nothing. Now I keep most everything. When I have enough box tops they will wallpaper my hobby room or garage-at least that's the plan. Until then they store parts and acquired builds or are just saved.
  23. Thanks for the reply's Chip and Mike. The history of this vehicle is very sketchy through google research. There are lots of different story's. It had been mentioned somewhere that it was on a Ford chassis but I cannot verify that. The snow plow wheelbase looks about right-thank you. I was at the thrift stores today with this project at the front of my mind, but found things for other projects. That is how it works. Thanks again for the input, all ideas are appreciated.
