  1. Amazing piece of art is how I see it. Thanks for sharing
  2. A little more info and it seems very affordable (cough) http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2014/02/24/hennessey-venom-gt-claims-top-speed-record-for-usa-at-270-mph/?intcmp=features
  3. It appears to be a pneumatic setup for pressing wheels on the axles. Interesting pictures-thanks for sharing
  4. That's to bad. He was always one my favorite guests on the Bob and Tom show. RIP One of my favorites-doing Strother Martin from the movie Cool Hand Luke
  5. No more Honey Boo Boo or Kardashians? I agree and only have kept it around for sports programing. I guess as long as they get ratings and make money it won't be changing any time soon.
  6. I don't recall seeing this job at career day. Sure looks like fun.
  7. Very nice work. I like the profile picture-it's really a striking design. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Nice job, it looks just like "June". Thanks for sharing.
  9. This seems to be a more common practice. There are many brandname items I no longer buy because of this. I expect one or the other but when they happen at the same time-no more from me.
  10. Some interesting responses. My avatar changes when the mood strikes, but it is currently Alex Karras as Mongo in the movie Blazing Saddles. My user name refers to my favorite pastime-dirtbikes. While I no longer race them I spend as much time as possible riding the awesome trails and terrain of Idaho.
  11. Pretty cool. I guess the Petty's have been racing a little longer than I remember.
  12. Bummer about the paint but looking forward to one of your killer interiors. Thanks for sharing.
  13. I'm not not crazy about the new chase. For what it's worth here is an article on who would have won using the old points system. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1522176-nascar-if-the-chase-didnt-exsist-who-would-have-won-a-championship
  14. That's cool. Looks like the "to do" list just got a little longer.
  15. Love it!
  16. I have had good results with their CA glue. I purchased a .053 ounce bottle several years ago Michaels for a few dollars with 40% coupon. The nice thing about the plastic bottle is I can take the lid off and dip a toothpick or such. It's less waste, no clogged tips, and no dried out half used tubes I have used it dozens of times over the years and still have a half bottle left. I wouldn't be scared of it but as pointed out make sure it's CA.
  17. Nice job on the personal touches, it finished out nice and the wheels are much improved. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Nice action pictures, they do tell the story. I really like the second one with the tire shredding.
  19. That's cool, I like the wheel/tire treatment. Thanks for sharing
  20. Nice , looks like an advertisement of the times but with no tv maybe a dealer promo for commercial fleet sales? Either way pretty impressive for the vehicle it is.
  21. Very nice. I thought the same thing till I built one for a friend, now it's on my very long to do list if I can stop cutting up models and do some OOB's.
  22. I wasn't implying that they don't customize military but that the plentiful aftermarket parts are to make more accurate 1:1 models unlike the the auto industry with so much diversity. I could have maybe worded that better. No diss to the military modelers
  23. I can't get permits to cut firewood . I hope they straighten this mess out before the snow makes the mountains impassible or It may be a very chilly winter building models.
